INDIAN AIR FORCE INVITES EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)

FOR INDIGENOUS DEVELOPMENT of FILTER ELEMENTS


FOR AIRBORNE APPLICATIONS

1. Commanding Officer, No. 1 Central Indigenisation and Manufacturing Depot (CIMD), AF


on behalf of HQ Maintenance Command, Indian Air Force invites Expression of Interest (EoI)
for indigenous development of Filter Elements for Airborne applications including
generation of technical specification, drawings and test schedules.

2. Details of Qty- Five Filters for airborne applications which are presently being considered
for development is placed at Annexure. The interested firms/vendors are to requested to
submit Technical proposal along with Budgetary Quotes separately for each Filter.

3. Samples of all listed Filter elements are available and can be inspected at 1 CIMD on all
working days with prior intimation for necessary security clearance and formalities.

4. Eligibility Criteria: Indian Vendors based in India with adequate technical


infrastructure, R & D capability preferably with proven experience of design /manufacture
/supply of aviation grade Filters.

5. Financial Capacity: The firm must be financially sound and capable of undertaking
development and testing of the items and meet mutually agreed timelines of supply.

6. Following documents are to be attached while expressing interest:

(a) Company profile including registration/evidence of legal status, experience,


expertise.

(b) Financial details of last three financial years with IT return.

(c) Records of current projects, their valuation and completion dates.

(d) Details of experience in undertaking indigenous developmental tasks with Defence,


Govt PSUs and other agencies, if any.

(e) Detailed roadmap indicating how the vendor proposes to meet the IAF
requirements.

(f) Anticipated time frame for execution of the project.


7. It is not mandatory to submit EoI for all the five lines. The same completed in all aspects
would be evaluated based on the supporting documents. The physical verification of the
Firm’s capability and expertise to execute the project may be carried out, if need be. RFPs.
would be issued only to shortlisted and capable Firms.

8. Clarifications pertaining to the EOI may be sought before 24 Jun 20 from:

10. Any additional details can be sought by e-mail. Authorised representatives of the
Interested Firms are welcome to visit 1 CIMD, with prior confirmation as per given timelines.
