In a Nutshell

1. Flourishing of technology could be bad or good depends on the person using it.
Utilizing technology would be beneficial when there’s a demand for food, medicine,
especially if there's pandemic, etc. to survive. But when it is utilized to create
destruction to humanity and the environment, that’s when it became terrible. All these, it
depends on one's person's action in flourishing technology.

2. If flourishing of technology could either be bad or good depending on the person

using it, then technology is not a “human activity,” rather, it is a way of revealing – to
uncover what was covered over.

3. Everything we perceive or think of or interact with “emerges out of concealment

into unconcealment,” and by entering into a particular relation with reality, reality is
therefore “revealed” in a specific way.

4. Technology embodies a specific way of revealing the world, a revealing in which

humans take power over reality.

5. In our “age of technology” reality can only be presented as raw material (as a
standing reserve), and the technological way of revealing was not chosen by
humans.
