 INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the first supplement for Reimagined: Fanfic Role-Playing

Game. If you like stories about war, politics, and dragons and maybe
were unhappy with how your favorite TV show ended, you have an
opportunity to fix it. That’s what Reimagined is for! Let’s rewrite the last
season and make it better.

The supplement adds three new Flavor tables along with the rules on
how to use them. To play the game, you will need the Reimagined core
rule book, available on DriveThruRPG.com.
Reimagined: Fanfic Role-Playing Game is a simple and fun game for 2
players in which you play out your own TV series, based on a book,
movie, comic book, video game or TV show. Together, you will create a
compelling and exciting story, as screenwriters, directors, and actors.

You will be designing the plot for the TV series as you go along. The fate
of your favorite characters will be entirely up to you! You can see them
in relationships you knew they were always meant to be in or making
different choices than in the canon fiction. You can explore the
continuation of your favorite stories or ask “what if...?” questions and
see what happens. And because Reimagined is a role-playing game, you
will experience all the action firsthand as you dive into scenes!
 NEW RULES

When playing “Game of war, politics, and dragons”, the default fanfic
type is Fix-it. Discuss at what point in the canon story you'd like to set
your TV series and what are the main things you want to fix. You can go
as much into detail as you want.

There are three new Flavor tables in this supplement: war, politics, and
dragons. During Preparation, decide whether you want to use all three
tables, two of them or only one. Discuss what topics you want to explore
and choose the Flavor tables accordingly.

HOW TO USE FLAVOR TABLES

If you’ve decided to use only a single Flavor table, you should use it like
any other Flavor table. If you’ve decided to use two or three tables, the
rules change slightly. Whenever the Screenwriter rolls for a Flavor table,
they choose for which table they roll. You can choose a different Flavor
table in every scene. This way, you have more control over the topics of
the scenes and episodes.
HOW TO COVER THE WHOLE STORY IN JUST
A COUPLE OF SCENES

In Reimagined: Fanfic Role-Playing Game you role-play the key scenes

of your TV series. It doesn’t mean those are the only events in the plot.
Remember that during the scene setup and at the end of each scene,
the Screenwriter can add several events that take place between the
scenes. For example, if you want to role-play an intense dialogue
between the characters, during the setup you may describe a long
journey, a battle or a whole series of events that led to that dialogue. To
have the most fun while playing Reimagined you should choose only the
most interesting parts of the story or topics you want to explore in
detail, as scenes to role-play. This way you can focus on the things you
want to play out and move the plot forward between the scenes.
