Chemical description Organic derivative of bentonite

Hazardous Impurities The product contains a small amount (2-5%) of crystalline silica,
which may cause delayed respiratory disease if inhaled over a
prolonged period of time. Avoid breathing dust. Use dust musk.

Inhalation Avoid generating dusts. Do not breathe dust

Skin contact Can cause irritation with prolonged contact

Ingestion Do not take internally. May cause mucosal irritation

Human health hazards - Chronic Repeated inhalation of fine dusts may cause pneumoconiosis

Physical and chemical hazards Do not add water to the product: the addition of water causes slippery
floor condition

4. FIRST AID MEASURES


Inhalation Remove to fresh air, and treat symptomatically. Obtain medical
attention

Skin contact Take off contaminated clothing. Wash off with plenty of water.

Eye contact Gently irrigate with clean water. If irritation persist, obtain medical
attention

Ingestion Rinse mouth immediately and repeatedly with water. If necessary


obtain medical attention

Methods for cleaning up Remove as much as possible with broom, scoop or vacuum, as the
addition of water causes slippery floor conditions. System should be
earthed to avoid risk of ignition by static electricity. The product makes
the ground slippery when wet.
