Our school trip

At 9 o’clock Azra is outside her school. She is very happy because

she is going on a school trip with her class. At half past eleven they
are learning about the animals on the farm. They are watching the
goats and the goats are eating. At one o’clock they are having lunch.
Azra is eating an apple and they are doing a quiz. In the evening
Azra is at home. She isn’t watching her favourite TV programme. She
is doing her homework. She is writing about the school trip.

My favourite animal

Liam works in a wildlife park. At the moment he is feeding the

penguins. He feeds them every day. They eat fish. At two o’clock
Liam is cleaning the elephants’ house and some of the elephants are
watching him. He always cleans the animal houses in the afternoon.

Mickey’s model dinosaur

Mickey is making a model dinosaur. He is looking for the instructions.

Millie is sitting on them. Then he is looking for the glue. Mutt hasn’t
got the glue in his mouth, he is eating a bone. It isn’t raining
anymore. They are going to the park. But Mutt is stuck, he is sitting
on the glue.

Meerkats
Meerkats are brown with grey stripes and black ears. They are small
like rabbits. They have got long bodies and a long tail, but short legs.
They can stand on two legs. They live in groups. There are five to
thirty meerkats in a group. They sleep in holes in the ground. In the
morning they go out of the holes and look for food. They eat insects,
lizards, eggs, mice plants, poisonous scorpions and spiders. When
meerkats eat, some of them guard the others. If a snake, a fox or an
eagle comes and wants to eat them, the meerkat guards bark and
they all run back to holes.

The story of Chicken Licken

Chicken Licken is in the farmyard. A nut falls on his head. He says:

The sky is falling down. I must go to London and tell the king. So he
runs down the road. He meets Henny Penny and tells her ‘the sky is
falling down’. She comes with him. They meet Ducky Lucky and
Goosey Loosey swimming in the pond. They go with Henny Penny and
Chicken Licken. Then they meet Foxy Loxy by the road. He tells them
they are going the wrong way and they must follow him. But Foxy
Loxy doesn’t take them to London. He takes them to his den. His wife
and children are waiting and are hungry. So Chicken Licken, Henny
Penny, Ducky Lucky and Goosey Loosey never get to London and tell
the King the sky is falling down.
