Introduction

As a member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), you can leverage


the Oracle brand for added marketing reach and power. You may
use logo branding that Oracle has developed exclusively for
partners as well as Oracle product images in the form of Oracle-
provided product photography and product logos. Use of the
appropriate Oracle branding for partners allows you to highlight
your competency and commitment to delivering customer
satisfaction with Oracle and helps create preferences for your
solutions and services in the global marketplace.

Note: OPN program logos are for use only by Oracle business
partners who are qualified OPN members and have authorization
to use the Oracle product images and/or OPN program logos
appropriate to their membership in accordance with a valid
written trademark license from Oracle or with the current,
applicable Oracle PartnerNetwork Policies. To protect the
integrity of the OPN program logos and Oracle product images, it
is essential that they be used correctly. You must adhere to the
terms of your trademark license and/or the Oracle
PartnerNetwork Policies and the following guidelines when using
any of these Oracle brand properties.
Oracle PartnerNetwork Program
Overview

Partners are permitted to use their member logo, Expertise logos, other OPN program logos
and badges (OVI, Exastack, etc.) and product and family logos. Partners are not permitted to
use industry or GBU logos at this time. Partners are also not permitted to use the Oracle
Signature or the OPN Program signature logos.

LOGO and BADGE EXAMPLES

Below are examples of the OPN program logos and badges. Each logo configuration includes
the Oracle Signature logo. Expertise logos include a descriptive name that identifies the
partner’s Expertise type. Other logos include descriptive text specific to their program.

Branding Opportunities for Partners

OPN offers the following branding opportunities for partners, including program logos and Oracle product images.

OPN PROGRAM LOGOS and BADGES

Partners must meet specific qualifiers to attain the various Expertise and product designations listed below. For
specifics about these areas and their related qualifiers, visit partners.oracle.com.

Membership Logo: OPN allows current members of Oracle Cloud Badges: Oracle Cloud badges may be
Oracle PartnerNetwork to use an OPN membership used on the partner’s website, collateral, and event
logo. Once you join as a member, you may earn signage to help customers recognize the partner’s
Expertise. Partners are provided with additional support for Oracle Cloud. Powered by Oracle Cloud
branding based on the Expertise they attain. For badges recognize partner software solutions that run on
guidelines on using the Oracle PartnerNetwork Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle Autonomous
membership logo, see page 10. Database, or Oracle Database Exadata Cloud Service.
Integrated with Oracle Cloud badges recognize partner
Value Added Distributor Logo: OPN provides an software solutions that connect or integrate with Oracle
opportunity for value added distributors (VADs) to Cloud Applications or Oracle FastConnect. For
brand their special relationship with Oracle. The Oracle guidelines on using Oracle Cloud badges, see page 14.
Value Added Distributor logo allows partners to indicate
the nature of their business relationship with Oracle. For Oracle Validated Integration Badges: OPN allows you

ORACLE PRODUCT IMAGES

Qualified Oracle partners may use Oracle-provided product logos and to indicate those Oracle products or services
they are licensed to resell. For guidelines on using Oracle product images, see page 29.

OPN Program Logos
Correct Usage

• OPN program logos may be used only to show that you are an OPN member. You may not use OPN
program logos and badges in any manner that misrepresents your relationship with Oracle or is
otherwise misleading. You may not use the standalone Oracle Signature logo in any way.

• OPN program logos and badges may be used only on presale marketing materials (for example,
advertisements, company brochures, trade show banners, and product collateral), stationery systems
(business cards, letterhead), and your website. You may not use OPN program logos and badges on
materials that promote products or services that are unrelated to Oracle’s products or services.

• OPN program logos, badges and the term Oracle cannot appear to be part of your trademarks,
company name, product name, or service name. Moreover, OPN program logos may not be displayed
on your products, product labels, or product packaging. (For exceptions pertaining to Powered By,
Integrated With, Oracle Validated Integration, Ready and Optimized logo usage with partner products,
see page 14.

• Materials on which you use OPN program logos and badges must clearly indicate that you are
independent from Oracle. All materials displaying OPN program logos and badges must display those
logos in a subordinate manner to your company name/logo. OPN program logos and badges must be
displayed as prominently as any other third-party relationship logos displayed on your materials. All
materials that include an OPN program logo or badge and a trademark credit line for your trademarks
must also include the following trademark credit line: “Oracle and Java are registered trademarks of
Oracle and/or its affiliates.” Exempt from this requirement are business cards and letterhead.

• You must use artwork supplied by Oracle and follow the graphic standards for use of OPN program
logos and badges as set forth throughout this document (including color, size, placement, and clear
space guidelines). You may not change the color or font of OPN program logos and badges, take them
apart, combine them with any other words or graphics, translate them, change their proportions,
animate them, morph them, or otherwise alter them in any way.

• You may not use OPN program logos and badges in any manner that reflects negatively on Oracle.

• Partner use of all Oracle logos must adhere to guidelines posted at oracle.com/legal/logos.html.

Unacceptable Usage

Color Palette

Color is one of the most effective elements for ensuring a clear and consistent presentation of the
Oracle brand identity. Oracle’s primary color palette consists of Oracle Red and Oracle Bark.
Consistent use of the official color palette is essential to maintaining a strong worldwide brand.

Relationship Spacing

When placing multiple OPN program logos next to each other, you must keep an established amount of
space between the logos. The space [x] should be equal to three times the height of the Oracle
Signature, as shown below.

Membership & Expertise Logos

OPN allows current members of Oracle PartnerNetwork to use an OPN membership logo. Once you join
as a member, you may earn Expertise. Partners are provided with additional branding based on the
Expertise they attain. For guidelines on using the Oracle PartnerNetwork membership and Expertise
logos, see page 11. As a member of OPN and depending on the Expertise you attain, you will be
authorized to use and have access to the appropriate set of logos and will be able to download them
from partners.oracle.com. The membership partner logo is based on the Oracle Signature. Each logo
was created using the corporate fonts and color palette.

EXPERTISE LOGOS

In addition to your OPN membership logo, Oracle offers branding that indicates your level of Oracle-
specific technical competency. These Expertise logos brand your company as one that is recognized by
Oracle and preferred by customers in your area(s) of Expertise. The Expertise logos are based on the
Oracle Signature and include a descriptive name that identifies each Oracle branded area of Expertise
including a specific regional market, where applicable. Partners may also use a basic version of the
Expertise logo which includes the Oracle Signature and the track in which the Expertise falls. Each logo
was created using the corporate fonts and color palette. Partners may qualify for more than one
Expertise logo.

ADVANCED EXPERTISE LOGOS

In addition to your OPN membership logo, Oracle offers branding that indicates advanced levels of
Oracle-specific technical competency. These Advanced Expertise logos brand your company as one that
is recognized by Oracle, has met established qualifiers, and is preferred by customers in your area(s) of
Expertise. The Advanced Expertise logos are based on the Oracle Signature and include a descriptive
name that identifies each Oracle branded area of Expertise including a specific regional market, where
applicable. Each logo was created using the corporate fonts and color palette. Partners may qualify for
more than one Advanced Expertise logo

Clear Space

OPN member and Expertise logos should never compete visually with other graphic elements. Use
established minimum clear space guidelines at all times.

Clear space [x] is equal to the cap height of the O in the Oracle Signature. That distance should be used
to set off the logo both horizontally and vertically from other elements. Never use less than the
minimum clear space. See clear space defined by x in the example below.

Minimum Size

OPN member and Expertise logos should always be large enough to ensure legibility. To ensure that the
logo is prominent and readable at reduced sizes, please observe the minimum-size requirements in all
media.

The minimum size is measured by the width of the Oracle Signature. In printed materials, the Oracle
Signature must be no less than 17.5 mm or 0.6965 inches in width. When displayed onscreen, the Oracle
Signature must be no less than 57 pixels in width.

For business cards only, due to their smaller size, logos may be reduced so that the Oracle Signature is
14.5 mm or 0.5709 inches in width. Preferred positioning of the OPN membership logo is in the lower-
left corner of the business card.

OPN Program Badges
Oracle Cloud Badges

Oracle Cloud badges may be used on the partner’s website, collateral, and event signage to help
customers recognize the partner’s support for Oracle Cloud. Powered by Oracle Cloud badge recognizes
partner software solutions that run on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle Autonomous Database, or
Oracle Database Exadata Cloud Service. Integrated with Oracle Cloud badge recognize partner software
solutions that connect or integrate with Oracle Cloud Applications or Oracle FastConnect.
Use of an Oracle Cloud badge is contingent on meeting certain specific qualification criteria found on
the Cloud Build Track Expertise Catalog:
• Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) member in good standing
• Complete related Cloud Build Expertise criteria as specified here
o Commercially available application verified to run on the related Oracle Cloud service as noted
below
o Public statement of support for Oracle Cloud: Provide at least 1 of the following:
– Approved press release announcement for the related Cloud Build Expertise OR
– Approved listing on Oracle Cloud Marketplace
Oracle Cloud badges will be provided to OPN members once confirmed that they have a public
statement of support and their application(s) meet the following additional criteria:
Powered by Oracle Cloud: Runs on Oracle Cloud (IaaS or PaaS)
Powered by Oracle Autonomous Database Cloud: Runs on Oracle Autonomous Transaction
Processing (ATP) or Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW)

Oracle Cloud Badges
Correct Usage

Oracle Cloud Badges leverage the Oracle brand logo architecture, the Oracle Brand Icon Collection, and
official Oracle color palette. Oracle Cloud Badges are used by Oracle partners who have achieved the
related OPN Cloud Build Expertise. These badges may be used on partner websites, collateral, and event
signage to identify which of their applications have achieved Powered by Oracle Cloud, Powered by
Oracle Autonomous Database Cloud, Powered by Oracle Database Exadata Cloud Service, Integrated with
Oracle Cloud, or Integrated with Oracle FastConnect. status.

The Oracle Cloud badging system is intended to be used on the partner’s product website or collateral,
whereas the Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) membership logo is to be used on the company’s partnerships
website. Badges should not be used on third party product packaging nor in a partner product itself. A
company’s application and/or product achieves Powered by Oracle Cloud or Integrated with Oracle Cloud
status, and therefore a single company may have more than one product which achieves the status. A
badge may be used in collateral such as a datasheet, solution brief, and/or signage at an event or booth.

Please adhere to these guidelines at all times, an Oracle logo should never be altered from its officially
released form.

Oracle Validated Integration Badges

In addition to the appropriate OPN membership logo, Oracle offers branding for partners whose
integrations with specific on-premise Oracle applications have been validated by Oracle. OPN partners
who have joined the License & Hardware - Build Track can leverage the Oracle Validated Integration
program, which provides validation of the partner’s integration between their solution(s) and such
Oracle applications as, Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle’s PeopleSoft, Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne,
and Oracle’s Siebel CRM.

Get Validated! Learn the benefits of this program and the criteria for earning the distinguished Oracle
Validated Integration Expertise. Partners with an Oracle Validated Integration can use associated
branding to enhance marketing efforts by using an Oracle Validated Integration badge on such assets as
product collateral, company website, advertising, stationery, business cards, event signage, and their
Oracle Partner Finder profile.

Oracle Validated Integration badges were developed to bring a common look and feel to leading Oracle
applications. They are based on the Oracle’s Redwood branding and include an Oracle application-
specific designation. Each logo was created using the corporate fonts and color palette. Oracle Validated
Integration Expertise criteria and benefits can be found under the License & Hardware Build Track
Expertise Catalog.

Oracle Validated Integration Badges
Correct Usage

Please adhere to the following guidelines:

• Oracle Validated Integration badges may be used only to show that your specific application or
product is integrated with a specific Oracle application..

• Do not use the Oracle Validated Integration program logo (i.e. Oracle Validated Integration with Oracle
Applications).

• Do not use Oracle Validated Integration badges in a manner that is false or misleading, could reflect
negatively on Oracle, or suggests that your product or service has been produced or warranted by
Oracle.

• You may display Oracle Validated Integration badges only on marketing materials (for example, web
pages, trade show banners, advertisements, data sheets, and product packaging) that are specific to
your product that is integrated with an Oracle application.

• Oracle Validated Integration logos and the term Oracle cannot appear to be part of your trademarks,
company name, product name, or service name.

• Materials on which you use Oracle Validated Integration badges must clearly indicate that you are
independent from Oracle. All materials displaying an Oracle Validated Integration logo must display
that logo in a subordinate manner to and separately from your own names, marks, or logos.

• All materials displaying an Oracle Validated Integration badge and a trademark credit line for your
trademarks or third-party trademarks must legibly display the following trademark credit line: “Oracle
and Java are registered trademarks of Oracle and/or its affiliates.” Exempt from this requirement are
business cards and letterhead.

• Partner use of all Oracle logos and badges must adhere to guidelines posted at
oracle.com/us/legal/third-party-logos/index.html and at

OPN Exastack Ready & Optimized Badges
Correct Usage

• You may place the applicable badge on collateral, on your website, and on marketing materials (for
example, trade show banners, advertisements, data sheets, and product packaging) that are specific
to the product that has qualified for Oracle Exastack Ready and/or Oracle Exastack Optimized
Expertise.

• You may not place the applicable Oracle Exastack Expertise badge on your software product (e.g., not
in splash screens, about screens, help screens, help menus, product media such as a DVD, or product
packaging).

• You may not place the applicable Oracle Exastack Expertise badge on any hardware product.

• Your use of any Oracle Exastack Expertise badge and/or benefit is subject to the terms of your OPN
agreement, the OPN Policies, and Oracle’s Logo and Advertising Template Guidelines set forth at
oracle.com/partners (log in and select Membership / Agreements and Policies). If your application
product no longer meets all of the Oracle Exastack Expertise criteria, you must stop using the
applicable badge. If you breach any of the requirements set forth above or in the OPN Policies, the
OPN agreement, or Oracle’s Logo and Advertising Guidelines with regard to use of any Oracle
Exastack Expertise badge, you will remove the logo from any and all websites within three business
days of the date of Oracle’s notice to you of such breach, and you will stop distributing collateral
containing the logo immediately upon Oracle’s notice of such breach. In addition, Oracle may
terminate your participation in the Oracle Exastack Ready program and/or Oracle PartnerNetwork, at
Oracle’s sole discretion.

• Do not use Oracle Exastack Expertise badges in a manner that is false or misleading, could reflect
negatively on Oracle, or suggests that your product or service has been produced or warranted by
Oracle.

• Oracle Exastack Expertise badges and the term Oracle cannot appear to be part of your trademarks,
company name, product name, or service name.

• Materials on which you use Oracle Exastack Expertise badges must clearly indicate that you are
independent from Oracle. All materials displaying an Oracle Exastack Expertise badge must display
that badge in a subordinate manner to and separately from your own names, marks, or logos.

• All materials displaying an Oracle Exastack Expertise badge and a trademark credit line for your
trademarks or third-party trademarks must legibly display the following trademark credit line: “Oracle
and Java are registered trademarks of Oracle and/or its affiliates.” Exempt from this requirement are
business cards and letterhead.

Overview

Oracle PartnerNetwork members may use Oracle product photographs and product logos in their
promotional materials, for the purpose of highlighting those products or services they recommend,
resell, implement, or support through their partner relationship with Oracle and consistent with their
membership and/or earned Expertise.

To protect Oracle’s intellectual property as well as the integrity of the product images and logos, it is
essential that these materials be used correctly and without modification. When you use Oracle
product images and logos, or any Oracle trademark, you must follow the Third Party Usage Guidelines
for Oracle Trademarks at oracle.com/us/legal/third-party-trademarks/index.html and comply with
the usage guidelines in this document as well as with the terms of your OPN Agreement, including all

Correct Usage

• You may use Oracle product images and logos only for those Oracle products or services that you
recommend, resell, implement, or support through your partner relationship with Oracle and

• You must use artwork supplied by Oracle and follow the Oracle graphic standards included in this
document for use of Oracle product images and logos, including the standards for color, size,
placement, and clear space.

• Any layout using an Oracle hardware image must also display your OPN membership logo.

• You may not take Oracle product images or logos apart, crop or use partial components of them,
combine them with any other words or graphics, translate them, change their proportions, animate
them, morph them, change their color or fonts, or otherwise alter them in any way.

• When using Oracle product images next to other hardware or software images, you must ensure
proportional and balanced sizing is maintained.

• You may not use an Oracle product image or logo to suggest any relationship with Oracle that is not
accurate or that creates any impression that is false or misleading.

• Oracle product images and/or logos cannot appear to be part of your trademarks, company name,
product names, or service names.

• You may not use an Oracle product image or logo in a manner that suggests that Oracle endorses one

• When you use an Oracle product image and/or logo, it needs to be clear that Oracle is the source of

white (one-color) option for specific applications, such as newspaper advertising. The color logo on a
