Learning Graphology (handwriting analysis)

Graphology enables you to determine someone’s personality traits by just examining his
hand writing. Graphology enables you also to know his state of feeling at the time he
was writing, so you won’t only know his personality but you will know how he was feeling
like while writing these lines.

Below is a list of the different elements that the graphologist analyzes in order to extract
the personality traits from handwriting. Click on any link and you will be directed to a
page where you can know about the personality traits or emotional state that is
associated with that element.

Graphology (handwriting analysis) and pen pressure

What is meant by pressure here is the extent to which the writer pressurizes the paper
he is writing on. You may be wondering how to determine if the writer who wrote those
lines was using a heavy or a light pressure. The solution is simple, when checking the
papers below the one the writer was writing on you may find deep marks that resulted
from excess pressure on the top paper. The more the number of lower papers that have
the pressure marks on them the grater was the pressure used

Graphology and heavy pressure

Heavy pressure: heavy pressure indicates that the writer has got a great deal of energy.
The energy mentioned here is not only physical energy but it may be mental energy too,
this type of person may keep fighting to the end until he gets what he wants, he may
also complete his task in spite of the difficulties that he face and he may like physical
activities. Its worth to mention that a heavy pressure in writing may show that the writer
is having a type A personality.

Graphology and light pressure

Light pressure: light pressure indicates that the writer have got less energy than the a
writer writing with heavy pressure, this person may prefer activities that require less
physical work and he may also be a little sensitive. This person may also be more
flexible than a person writing with heavy pressure and this may make him more
adaptable to changing situations. Light pressure is sometimes referred to as feminine
writing.

Type A Personality vs Type B Personality

There are many classifications out there That helps in determining people’s personalities
,however, the type A and type B classification is the most famous one due to its high
accuracy. This classification divides people into type As, type Bs and other some other
types But the most famous ones are the A the B. below is all what you need to know
about these types.

Type A Personality

The following are the characteristics of the type A personality

• Type A’s has got a severe sense of time urgency. They are always running and
can hardly relax. If they sat without doing something useful they may end up
feeling guilty
• Type A’s are over achievers, they usually get themselves involved in many
different unrelated activities and perform well in them all.
• Type A's biggest problem is stress, they are usually overwhelmed by the amount
of tasks they have to do. These tasks are usually a huge list that they planned for
themselves.
• Type A is usually competitive and has a high challenging spirit.

Type B Personality

• Type B personality is almost the opposite of Type A.

This type of person is relaxed by nature and has no sense of time urgency
• Type Bs have got no problems relaxing or sitting without doing anything
• Type Bs may delay the work they have to the last moment and they usually don't
get stressed that easily.
• Type B could be an achiever too but his lack of sense of time urgency helps him
much in not feeling stressed while doing his tasks

Graphology (handwriting analysis) and slant

The slant of the writing is the direction where the writing is tilted to,The slant of writing
could be either to the left, to the right or vertical.

Graphology and right slant

Right slant: the writer who has got a right slant is usually impulsive; he may take fast
decisions then regret them later. The writer may also be looking ahead; he may be
planning for the future and can’t wait for the time to pass.

Graphology and left slant

Left slant: a writer with left slant may be a shy and a reserved person; he may not find it
that easy to deal with strangers. He also focuses more on the past events that happen to
him, he may have problems forgetting bad days in his life.

Graphology and vertical (upright) slant

Vertical slant:the writer who has got a vertical slant is independent and self reliant. This
person has a balanced approach concerning time, he may not be that attached to the
past nor that impulsive.

Graphology and uneven slant

in graphology whenever the writing becomes uneven that does mean that the writer may
be moody or at least experiencing different moods while writing

Graphology (handwriting analysis) and size of letters

Some people use big letters in writing while others use small ones, you can determine if
the writing is big or small by relative comparison, for example if you write twelve words
per line while a friend of yours writes five words per line then his hand writing is of a
bigger size than yours.

Graphology and big letter size

Big letter size: the person writing big letters is usually an extrovert, he may be a
confident person, enthusiastic and generous. Its worth to mention that if you were writing
something you are sure of, your letter size will become bigger and vice versa. Think of it
as when in an exam, when you are sure of your answer, you may write it using big
letters, while if you were not sure of it you may write using smaller letters.

Graphology and small letter size

Small letter size: the person writing small letters is very good at concentration and has
got a great deal of precision. Hey may also be reserved or lacking self confidence. Hey
mat not be as social as the person who writes using big letters.

Graphology and variable letter size

Variable letter size: the person using variable letter sizes ( letter size vary from big to
small within the same article) is usually a moody and unpredictable person

Graphology (handwriting analysis) and line spacing

When we write, some people do leave large spaces between lines while others do leave
small ones. Large line spacing can be determined by comparing how many lines will fit
into a page, a writer who leaves large spaces between lines will usually have fewer lines
in a page compared to a writer who leaves small spaces.

Graphology and wide line spacing

Writers whom do leave large spaces between lines are self assured, far-sighted and
may be a little hostile. If the line spacing is even through out the page such that the
spacing does not change when approaching the end of the page this could indicate good
planning abilities, Simply because if the writer planned to use the page well, he won't
have to change the spacing of his lines to fit the page when approaching it's end.

graphology and close line spacing

writers whom do leave small spaces between lines are usually afraid of being isolated;
they may be lonely or at least have fear of being abandoned. Their unconscious mind
lets them place the lines close together to compensate for the need of intimacy.

graphology and evenly spaced lines

Evenly spaced lines: usually in graphology whenever you come to an even way of
writing it indicates that the person is balanced. For example If we are assuming that line
spacing may represent the need for intimacy, then the person with even line spacing will
have a balanced need for intimacy.

graphology and unevenly spaced lines

Unevenly spaced lines: when lines are unevenly spaced, such that some lines have
large spaces between them while others have small spaces, it indicates that the writer is
moody and unpredictable

Graphology (handwriting analysis) and line direction

When doing graphology analysis make sure that you write on a white paper instead of a
paper with lines. This is because one of the items we analyze in graphology is the
direction of the line (whether the line is ascending or descending) which can’t be noticed
if the page was already lined because in this case the writer will write on the lines that
are already present.

Graphology and ascending lines

Ascending line: an ascending line is a line where the words keep going up through it so
that the last word becomes a little higher than the first word in the line. The person who
writes using ascending lines may be an optimistic person or at least may be
experiencing good mood like being happy while writing.

Graphology and descending lines

Descending line: a descending line is the opposite of the ascending line. In the
descending line the last word in the line becomes lower than the first word. The person
who writes descending lines may be a pessimistic person or at least may be
experiencing a bad mood like depression while writing.

Doodles Interpretation And Psychological Analysis

Graphology

Psychologist or Magician?

When I was interested in personal development and psychology 10 years ago, I never
expected that one day I will be able to know about personalities of other people by
watching their gestures, noticing their face features, knowing about the type of music
they prefer, taking a sample of their handwriting and even by looking at their doodles.

Yes, doodles, everything that you do or that you do not do leave traces of your
personality and of your inner world. As you may have guessed, this article talks about
doodles, their interpretation and their hidden meanings.

Doodles follow the same rules that graphology follows and so the same variables that
you use to interpret a handwriting sample can be used with doodles (example pen
pressure, margins…etc)

Doodles Intrepretation

Triangles, squares , geometrical shapes: geometrical shapes may indicate that the
person has got a rational and logical way of thinking, this person may also be a good
planner. Drawing a triangle sometimes signifies the internal desire of going up or
advancing in your career or social life.

Arrows, ladders Arrows and ladders may indicate that the person is ambitious,
obsessed about some goals and looking forward to some achievements.

Doodling Good Looking Faces: Good looking faces may indicate that the person is
social, people loving and optimistic.
Doodling Funny faces: Funny faces may indicate that the person is having a good
sense of humour

Doodling Ugly Faces ugly faces may indicate that the person is not a social person,
lacking self confidence, sceptic, bad tempered or aggressive.

Doodling Stars: Stars may indicate optimism and hopefulness.

Doodling Houses: May indicate that the person is missing his home, wanting a family,
or is wanting to settle.

Doodling Flowers and plants May indicate that the person is sensitive, warm and kind

Doodling hearts : Means that the person is suffering from socio-anti-complex-bio-

disorder , well, just kidding simply he is in love or in need of a relation

Doodling 3D shapes: Indicates the ability to see the full picture and all aspects of an
issue or at least the desire to do so

Doodling underlined names: underlining a name with one or two lines may indicate
that this person is important (whose name is underlined)

Doodling Food: May indicate real hunger or emotional hunger

Doodling AnimalsMay Indicate love for animals or sensitivity

Doodling cars, plans, trains:may indicate a desire for travelling ,freedom or the need
for a holiday

Doodling Weapons guns, pistols and swords may indicate competitiveness and
presence of a warrior spirit

Doodle Interpretation Accuracy

When you start to doodle you are usually doing so under the effect of many unconscious
parameters including your personality, your current mood and other variables. That’s
why the interpretation of doodles needs to be done with care and without giving hasty
judgments. Some information on the person’s current mood and background may be
very useful in the analysis of doodles
