NEW SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS STARTS TODAY IN THE
FELLOWSHIP HALL!: The Jewish Jesus: What would it be like
to journey back to the first century and sit at the feet of Rabbi
Jesus? If we could turn the clock back to the Jewish world of
the first century, what would it be like to Follow in the footsteps
of Jesus the Jew? How would your understanding of the
Gospel have been shaped by the culture and customs of that
day? This class will explore the parables and stories of Jesus
through the history, customs, culture, feasts, and geography
that shaped Jesus' world. Come hear the parables and
encounters that Jesus had in a new way.

THUMBPRINT—including Gilead Friends Church. Who are WE?
What matters to US? What is God calling US to? Next Sunday
evening from 5:00-7:00, we will have a series of small group chats
to explore those questions. What we learn may illuminate the path
ahead for us including what is put into new ministries and what kind
of pastor are we best matched with. Please join us for these
discussions in the Fellowship Hall. Come with your Bible and with

The Gilead Christian School Infant Room is in need of a
baby swing. If you are able to donate a new or gently
used baby swing, please contact the infant room at

EXTERIOR DOORS DURING THE WORK WEEK: For the
safety and security of the school student as well as church and
school staff all but one door will remained locked during the
work week. To access the building between the hours of 7am
and 4:30pm please use the High School Entrance (door # 16)
on the East side of the building.
CHURCH SERVICE CANCELLATION NOTICES…If you think
there may be a possibility of cancellation of our church worship
services due to bad weather, listen to WMRN (1490 am);
WVXG (95.1 fm); or TV channel 10. If church services are
cancelled for the morning we will be holding them that Sunday
evening at 5:00 pm. This will be a Worship Service only, no
classes. There will be childcare available. You will need to
continue to listen to the radio/TV if bad weather remains
throughout the day.
