 Status of the Bill
• There are two bills being proposed, one in the Senate and the other at the
House of Representatives. Both have economic impact as well as market
impact especially to critical and non-resilient companies
• The Senate Bill, authored by Sotto, is the subject matter of the report. The
report shall contain the possible effects of the Economic Stimulus program
in the Philippine Stock Market.
 Positive or Negative Impact
• There are authors which suggests that the steps which will be undertaken by
the Philippine Government when the bill is passed shall have inflationary
effect in the economy whereas deflationary for others.
