1 General Guidelines
1.1 Students have to be in continuous contact with their faculty guides either in
person, e-mail or over phone to update the progress of their work. The students
have to submit their proposal and progress reports through email in the enclosed
formats within the stipulated time. Additional sheets can be used to fill the details
wherever necessary.

1.2 Students have to ensure that their email ids and contact details are available with
their faculty guides.

*A window for proposal/report submissions has been provided keeping in mind few
internship dates that may get deferred due to extension of lock-down; All students
have to mandatorily take up projects (either independently or via internships) by 1st
June 2020 to be able to submit the project proposal on time.

5 Guidelines for Preparation of Final Report


Preamble

In preparing the internship / project report utmost attention must be paid to the content
ensuring that it meets the guidelines of academic integrity as stipulated in the academic
honesty policy of the University. A standard format is being prescribed to ensure
uniformity in all the reports submitted.

Organization of the Internship Report

The internship report is required to be in the following format. The table of contents
along with page numbers should be given. There should be a seperate contents page for
tables and charts along with page numbers.

Executive Summary – A one page description of your internship/ project work.

Chapter 1: Introduction

Introduction about the Eork done / Study, Research Motivation, Problem Statement,

Objectives, Need and Scope of the Study, Limitations of the Study.

Chapter 2 : Literature Review


Scholarly research articles should be reviewed with help of databases

Chapter 3 : Methodology or how the work was carried out


The methodology for carrying out the research (if any) or how the work was carried out
should be eloborated upon. It can talk about the sources of data, and tools and techniques
used for analyzing the data, wherever applicable. It can aslo include methods followed to
to the required work in the organization (as applicable).

Chapter 4 : Observations & Analysis


Critical evaluation of the work done during the internship/project period should be
adressed in this section.

Chapter 5: Findings
The findings should be based and drawn from the critical evaluation, observations and
data interpretation.

Chapter 6: Conclusion
A one or two page conclusion about the work done.

Annexure
All those relavant to the study, e.g., factual data about the company or about the industry
or problem studied, data collection tools used for collecting primary data, etc.

References
The latest APA convention should ideally be followed.

7 Procedure of Submission of the report


The students are advised to submit non plagiarized work.

 Submission of the soft copy/hardcopy of the final draft report to faculty guide for
review.
 The faculty guide will revert back to the student with the reviewed report.
