Activity Information

BURGLARY 11-700

On 01/05/2011, Deputies assigned to Ypsilanti Township responded to the 400 block of Bedford Drive (South of
Clark Road) for a burglary complaint. The Deputies discovered the suspect(s) pried open the rear door to gain entry.
The time of occurrence was between 1:00 PM through 3:30 PM on 01/05/2011. A television set was taken. There is
no suspect information at this time.

FELONIOUS ASSAULT 11-749

On 01/05/2011, Deputies assigned to Ypsilanti Township responded to the 2000 block of Briardale Court (East of
Woodglen Avenue) for a shots fired complaint. Ypsilanti City Police Department Officers advised that they were out
with two victims, who both had gunshot wounds, at Michigan Avenue and River Street in the City of Ypsilanti. It
was determined both victims had been shot in the area of Briardale Court and Woodglen Avenue

The Deputies discovered the victims were inside a vehicle that was parked in the street. Several subjects approached
the vehicle and shots were fired into the vehicle. It is unknown at this time how many subjects shot at the vehicle.
Two victims inside the vehicle were struck and the vehicle they were inside fled the scene. The vehicle stopped at
Michigan Avenue and River Street and asked for assistance from several Ypsilanti City Police Officers.

Both victims were transported to St. Joseph Mercy Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The time of
occurrence was at 9:03 PM on 01/05/2011. There is no suspect information at this time.

This case is currently under investigation.

BURGLARY 11-758

On 01/05/2011, Deputies assigned to Ypsilanti Township responded to the 200 block of South Hewitt (South of
Clark Road) for a burglary complaint. The Deputies discovered the suspect(s) pried off a screen, slid the window
open and crawled through to gain entry. The time of occurrence was between 1:30 PM through 10:30 PM on
01/05/2011. Two cameras, laptop computer, video camera, and an unknown amount of cash were taken. There is no
suspect information at this time.

UDDA (Stolen Vehicle) 11-764

On 01/05/2011, Deputies assigned to Ypsilanti Township responded to the 10000 block of Textile Road (East of
Bridge Road) for a stolen vehicle complaint. The Deputies discovered the suspect(s) entered the vehicle by unknown
means and stole the vehicle. The time of occurrence was at 9:25 PM 01/05/2011. There is no suspect information at
this time. The stolen vehicle is listed below.

Arrest Information
11-695
On 01/05/2011, Deputies assigned to Dexter Village responded to the 2000 block of Dongara Drive for an attempt
warrant pickup. The Deputies contacted a subject and determined he was wanted on an outstanding felony warrant
out of Kentucky. The subject was arrested without incident and transported to the County Jail. The subject will be
extradited to Kentucky.

On 01/05/2011, Deputies assigned to Salem Township stopped a vehicle on North Territorial Road near Dixboro
Road. The Deputies contacted a subject and determined he was wanted on an outstanding warrant. The subject was
arrested without incident and transported to the County Jail.

On 01/06/2011, Deputies assigned to Superior Township stopped a vehicle on Dawn Avenue and Stamford Road.
The Deputies contacted the driver and front seat passenger and determined both of them were wanted on outstanding
felony warrants. Both subject were arrested without incident and transported to the County Jail.
