Water Hyacinth Fiber in Concrete

A study conducted by Chen et al. (2011) evaluated concrete sample with three different fibers and
two different aggregates. The fibers that were used in their study were steel, polypropylene, and
water hyacinth fiber. The aggregates that they used were expanded polystyrene (EPS) and
ceramsite. Table 7 illustrates different samples with different fibers and aggregates.
