Guidelines for Parents:
1. Please read and understand the comprehensive guideline instructions given in the
Concept Paper for the Online Support Program
2. The weekly work assigned will be split over the week days according to the timetable
set by parents.
3. Parents will monitor and supervise their ward’s work.
4. Any videos/ websites suggested in the assignments will be strictly monitored by
parents.
5. The main objective of OSP is to engage children in learning activities, not develop
computer skills. The worksheets have to be downloaded and printed or copied by the
parents on loose sheets/ notebooks and students have to be guided to work on them.
6. The colouring activities are designed to develop hand muscles and coordination of
young learners. The parents should not try online options for colouring, it is not
possible for young children to do them online.
7. If you feel that your child is having problem with any of the tasks, you can contact
school as teachers are available online for the support.

 Parents are the primary source of Tarbiat, Religious and Cultural Values
development in their off springs and are also responsible to support their children
in developing positive behaviors & values.

 Use Courtesy Words like Please, Sorry, Thank you, Welcome etc.

 Tell your children religious and moral stories.

 Involve children in healthy physical activities, ask children to:

a. count fans and bulbs/tube lights of the house.

b. name objects in the kitchen and tell its colours.

c. hop /jump 30 times.

d. practice tying shoes and buttoning the shirt.

e. tell and draw what you did today beginning, middle, end.

f. do sink and float experiment with paper, rubber, clip, sharpener, pencil etc.
