My name is Fernanda Eiriz, and I am the IT and Operations Director at Sodexo Uruguay.

Throughout the past months Sodexo has been immersed in a significant digital transformation
process. This process is relevant in order to be aligned with technological advances in
digitalization and payment solutions.

As this project is required to be achieved worldwide it brings a lot of challenges with it, such as
applying globally defined guidelines to our local environment. This is especially difficult for us,
since Uruguay is a small country and its reality completely differs from larger countries.

In order to cope with these challenges, we are working on a plan which includes designing a
roadmap with its correspondent deadlines, assigned resources, and indeed taking into
consideration training people for those changes.
