III. SYNOPSIS
Lou Clark knows lots of things. She knows how many footsteps there
are between the bus stop and home. She knows she likes working in
The Buttered Bun tea shop and she knows she might not love her
boyfriend Patrick.

What Lou doesn’t know is she’s about to lose her job or that knowing
what’s coming is what keeps her sane.

Will Traynor knows his motorcycle accident took away his desire to live.
He knows everything feels very small and rather joyless now and he
knows exactly how he’s going to put a stop to that.

What Will doesn’t know is that Lou is about to burst into his world in a
riot of colour. And neither of them knows they’re going to change the
other for all time.
IV. REFLECTIONS
1. Which character from the novel do you admire the
most? Explain your reasons.
- I admired Lou for being a hardworking and a independent women. Lou
got a lots of responsibilities and for being a persevere girl, she situated
in a situation which makes her feel lonely , but through her strong traits
she overcome all of it. Even she lost her love she continually live her life
and become the most sweetest girl i ever known.

2. What do you think is the theme of the novel?

Elaborate.
- Obviouslythe story is all about love, about a girl falling inlove to a rich
quadripelgic guy. But Jojos main purpose of its book is to inform and
give sympathy to the people experiencing the same Disabilities.

3. If there is something you want to change in the

plotline, what would it be and why?
- forme the plot is well organized but, i just want to give suggestion
About the scene where lou and will both part ways, its so common and
i think most romantic stories are using this. I just want a dynamic and
tragic scene for that.

4. In your opinion, what is the purpose of the author in

writing this novel?
-The main goal is to raise awareness about the real situation and the
real feelings of people experiencing disabilities especially having
quadripelgic, the care and love they need, also the sympathy they want
in order to continue living, fighting for their lives and pursuing new
purpose in life.

5. What are the things that you have learned from the
novel?
-The lesson this book taught me is that sometimes life has other plans
for you, and while we are here living, we should take what we can from
life and do amazing things with it.
