ACTIVITIES:

Preliminaries:

The session started with a prayer led by Ms. Mari Joy Jumalon followed by the
checking of attendance by Ms. Maria Lalaine A. Culi.
The LAC session was facilitated by Ms. Leizl E. Dela Cerna with Ms. Casurra (MAPEH
teacher) as the documenter (secretary). The meeting was called to order at 3:30 PM at the
Library. The selection of the facilitator and documenter for today’s LAC was through
appointment.

PROBLEMS/ISSUES/CONCERNS SURFACED DURING THE SESSION:

1. The parents of the 32 learners that were called to attend were only attended by a few due to
some inevitable circumstances.
2. The list of 32 students with very low performance, truancy and behavior problems towards
school from Grade 7 - MCF were presented to the parents in attendance so it raised concern on
what strategies will be applicable for these learners.

RECOMMENDATIONS PROVIDED BY THE GROUP:

1. The Grade 7 teachers presented options to be agreed upon by the parents and these
are:
A.) Modular Approach/ ADM/ Homeschooling,
B.) Peer Tutoring (distribution of the learners to other sections for the whole 3 rd
quarter only) or,
C.) Advise to transfer to another school
2. The parents then agreed to vote. Eight parents voted for the Peer Tutoring, Seven
choose Modular Approach / ADM/ Homeschooling and One parent opted to transfer her
child to another school but at the end, the majority chose to have Peer Tutoring and
three parents decided to have the option A.

3. For option A, the parents are required to get the weekly modules from the subject
teachers every Monday and submit it on the following Monday for assessment from the
teacher concern. This process will be applicable for the whole 3rd Quarter only.

4. For option B,at the start of the 4th quarter, the students that were distributed will then
be given an option to return to their original section or they may remain.

5. For students under Option A, they also have to return to school.
