Employee reaction to rating/ errors

Favouritism, biased
forces some employees to be distributed in lower regions
-most employees view it as unfair and causes employee resentment
-most likely to be the subject of a discrimination lawsuit.
Since employees were not happy with this type of rating. To reduce the employee’s insecurities,
the senior management conducted departmental meetings. Listened to the reservations and tried
to satisfy them by the little change in grading system.

Rewards and recognition:

Increment/Pay raise: In chughtai lab, employees are given an annual pay raise as a recognition.
They distribute the amount of raise according to the grades of the employee. To make it more
clear here is an image attached for understanding. Current salaries are mentioned in a column.
Grades of employees are mentioned in another. And raise in salaries in accordance with the
grade is written in the next. Here, the managers and HR allocated the 10% of the salaries as total
pay raise of the employees.
