Date 15/06/2020 ORDER In terms of orders of the Chief Secretary to the Govemment of West Bengal issued vide Memo No. 177-CS/2020 dated 18/5/2020 and Memo No. 218-CS/2020 dated 30/5/2020 ‘which prescribe for lockdown measures in affected areas to effectively contain the spread of COVID 19; and in terms of SOP regarding affected areas (Containment Zones) issued by the Health & Family Welfare Department vide Memo No, H&FW/176/20 dated 01/06/2020 and aller due consultation with the Superintendent of Police, Birbhum and the Chief Medical Officer of Health, Birbhum and Rampurhat health districts, the areas as mentioned in Annexure of this order are hereby categorized as Containment Zone (Affected area - Category A) Itis further ordered that 1. The Block Development Officers of concerned blocks shall be responsible for all enforcement measures within their respective jurisdiction; 2. The concerned Block Development Officers, being Executive Magistrate, are hereby appointed to act as Incidence Commander for their respective jurisdiction; 3. Block Level Task Force and Municipality Level Task Force constituted in terms of order of the undersigned issued vide Memo No 92/C dated 27" May, 2020 will assess the situation of every containment zone on daily basis. The Task Force will arrange for surveillance of the containment areas by forming multidisciplinary team involving concerned Gram Panchayat member, ASHA workers, Civic police, local school teachers, Anganwadi Workers, SHG members and other publie representatives as deemed fit: 4. ‘The Task Force shall ensure intensive lockdown surveillance, contact tracing and testing in containment zones and will also ensure home delivery of essential commodities in the affected arcas. The directives and clarifications as contained in the orders of the Chief Secretary to the Government of West Bengal vide Memo No. 177-CS/2020 dated 18/5/2020 and Memo No. 218-CS/2020 dated 30/5/2020 will apply muratis mutandis and shall be complied by all concerned strictly ‘This order will take effect on and from 14/6/2020 and will remain in force for a period of 14 days if no further positive case is found.
