1. Discuss the implications of abnormal Mullerian development on female


reproduction, and evaluate the options of management.

2. Critically appraise the practice of induction of labour in Sri Lanka and evaluate
measures to improve outcomes.

3. Evaluate preventive strategies to reduce the incidence of carcinoma of cervix in


Sri Lanka.

1. Evaluate the anaesthetic techniques available for caesarean section.

2. A 24 year old is transferred to a teaching hospital at 28 weeks of pregnancy due to


a platelet count of 40 x W() /L detected at a routine full blood examination.
Outline the differential diagnosis and further management.

3. You are called urgently to the labour ward to see a woman who has a uterine
inversion with the placenta still attached. Her blood pressure is 70/40mmHg.
Describe your management.

4. Describe your management of a 65 year old woman presenting with a pruritic


white patches on her vulva.

5. Critically appraise the principles of induction of ovulation in polycystic ovarian


disease.
