Objectives: The students will be able to:
1. Understate different types of landforms.
2. Recognize different landforms present in Pakistan.
3. Know how the landforms are formed.

Introduction: Starter activity – Brainstorming

questions:  Students will participate in this activity

 Have you ever climbed a mountain or a


hill?  The learners will share their experiences.
 Have any one walked in a deserts?
 Did anyone get a chance to swim in a
lake before?

the examples they share.

Teacher will introduced the topic to the students.
Teacher will tell them land is not same every where
on earth.  Learners will listen to the teacher
Teacher willexplain students what land form is care fully.and ask questions
Teacher will show a chart to the students of diferent
landforms, students will be ask to make pairs and
discuss then describe them by writing two lines on
each in their note books.

Teacher will show the video to the students to know
more about land forms

present in each province of Pakistan.students will usetheir text book.

 The land of Punjab province is very fertile.
 There are snow-peaked mountains in Punjab.
 The south-eastern part of the province is dry and sandy.
 The Salt Range is to the north of the Indus Plain.
 The River Indus originates in the Hindu Kush mountain range.
 The River Indus flows the length of Pakistan and into the Arabian Sea.

they had which arose during the discussion.

 Ask students to find pictures of different landforms in magazines and newspapers and
make a landform collage with their parents.
