The Inuit tribe are smart and strong. The word Inuit in English means “Human beings.”
The Inuit tribe needs food, tools, clothing, shelter, and more to survive the days in the Arctic and
to survive with their tribe. The Inuit hunters feed the tribe before their self. The Inuit uses a
variety of tools and resources to help each other. Each tribe lives in a different place but the
Inuit live in the Arctic so that changes the shelter they go in and the chances of survival.

The Inuit eat, collect, gather and hunt. Also, the tools and weapons they use for
survival. The Inuit tribe eats fish, caribou, seals, whales, walrus, meat, berries, bird eggs and
plenty more. In order to catch food, they use tools and weapons like traps, nets, spears, bows
and arrows, knifes, axes, clubs, bola, ulu, harpoons and more. All the men do the hunting and
fishing. The Inuit use weapons for hunting. The Inuit don't have a lot of enemies so they don't
use their tools as weapons much expect for hunting. The Inuit are not really farmers because
the cold does not allow plants and crops to grow. In conclusion, the Inuit use and eat a variety of
foods and tools for survival.

The clothing and shelter the Inuit have used to stay warm and the type of shelter they
live in. The Inuit live in different kind of shelters. The first one is called an “igloo.” One might
have heard of one. The men of the tribe shape ice into blocks and they stack them to create a
dome shape. The entrance of the igloo is covered with animal hide to make it warm inside. The
second is called a “tent” they use sticks to hold two wide animal hides up and have stones to
make it not fall apart. The last one is called a “sod.” They use sticks, wood and whale bones to
build the dome shaped frame. The clothing the Inuit wear are warm and big to protect them from
the cold. The women get hide from animals to sew the clothing for the tribe. In conclusion, the
Inuit tribe need clothing and shelter for survival in the Arctic.

The Inuit believe that they have their own traditions to do and own legends to believe.
The Inuit always think they should pay respects for food before they hunt it. They also have
legends, beliefs and traditions. Before hunting an animal, the Inuit feed the animal before killing
it. This is to thank them for the food. Most villagers believe the legend of Sedna. The Inuit call
her “Guardian of Inuit” or “Woman below the ocean.” One day, the father of Sedna treated
Sedna badly and the father banished her. But the father tried to find her because he was sorry
then he did. Also, he was scared if someone tried to find her. After they went on a boat the
father threw Sedna off. Sedna was holding on by her fingers, but the father cut her finger and
each fell in the ocean and become sea creatures. After the father left, Sedna fell into the ocean.
Then air and moon gave her the power to live under water and now the Inuit know her as a
legend. In conclusion, the Inuit believe in their own legends and beliefs.
The Inuit tribe lives in the Arctic. Today, they still live in the Arctic and may have moved
their camp, but not to another region. The Inuit live in the west in Canada and Alaska. The
climate in the Arctic is cold and in the summer it is kinda of warm for the creatures including
humans. The Inuit now still pretty cold in their camp.

Finally, for conclusion , the Inuit always thanked the animals for fresh food for their tribe.
The Inuit have different ways to thank the animal for food, but one is to feed them before
hunting. The Inuit still practice these traditions. The Inuit now wear better and more modern
coats to stay warm. The shelters in camps are more modern and warmer than in the past.
However, they still make their other shelters. The food in the tribe have now changed to hunting
loads and is more modern food like we eat today. The tribe still hunts though. The Inuits camp is
similar to the past with a few tweaks, but only several. In conclusion, the Inuit have gotten
several items and more has changed to modern things but they still has a variety of past objects
and doings.
