Materials:

Yarn: Worsted weight in 2 colors:

Color 1 (head)
Color 2 (stem and leaf)
Fun fur in 1 color:
Color 1 (head, should match worsted weight color 1)
Crochet Hook (Size G)
Tapestry needle
9mm safety eyes (or your preferred type
of eyes)
Fiberfill (or your preferred type of
stuffing)
Embroidery thread, felt (for face)
Felt glue (optional)

All parts of the head and stem are made

in the spiral, there are no joined rounds.
Mark your rounds with a stitch marker
or safety pin. Gauge is not important as
long as you keep your tension even
through the entire piece. Using a
smaller yarn and hook will give you a
smaller doll, as well as increasing the
size of yarn and hook will give you a
bigger doll.

Abbreviations:
st - stitch
sc - single crochet
inc - increase (place 2 stitches in next stitch)
hdc - half double crochet
dc - double crochet
sc2tog - single crochet 2 stitches together

Lines done in blue are stitches or special directions that are not repeated through out the pattern. Read through
pattern before starting.

Pattern is for personal use only. Not for retail or commercial purposes without written permission from Amber Jolly.

At this point you may notice that the inside of your ball is furrier then the outside. I choose to turn my ball inside out
here so that the furriest part will be on the outside. Use whichever side you like better.

 Row 10 - 20 stitches - [3 sc, sc2tog] around

 Row 11 - 15 stitches - [2 sc, sc2tog] around
 Row 12 - 10 stitches - [1sc, sc2tog] around

Fasten off, weave in ends. Position and attach face, stuff head. Some of the fur may be looped into the worsted
weight yarn, making your head not appear as furry as you like. Use a small crochet hook to gently hook and pull the
strands of fur up for a better fuzzy look.
