Noun: A word used as a name of a person, place or thing

1. Some common nouns end with the short vowel ‘u’

In Sindhi most of the sounds of letters in a word are pronounced clearly with the help of short vowels a, i and u or long
vowels aa, ee and oo or their nasal sounds.

The last consonant is always pronounced with a vowel and is never silent. Look at these words, all these words end
with the short vowel ‘u’.
