Jesus of Nazareth (1977)

The film says, we should be reminded that God didn't surrender his life for us to
continue our life in the wrong direction yet to obey him by his promise and to live what Christ
did. I additionally love what Jesus says when he is being enticed by satan, that Jesus said "Man
doesn't live by bread alone, however by each word that continued out of the mouth of God
(Matt.4:4). The film tells us that we should cherish it in our hearts that He loves us and that we
should only obey him.

The film tells about the life of Jesus, who is the child of God and lives as a man and
carry on with a pure life, to fulfill his obligation told by the Father (God) to spare us from our
wrongdoings by surrendering his life in the cross. In the film, Jesus shows his disciples the way
that the Father needs us to be, "an adherent of Jesus Christ" who complies with his precepts.
Numerous supernatural occurrences, lessons and illustrations have shared by Jesus like the
Parable of the Prodigal Son (Luke 15: 11- 32), Matthew supper at his home, the Sermon on the
Mount, the relieving of the visually impaired man at the pool, the Raising of Lazarus (John
11:43), the Feeding of the Five Thousand, the Parable of the Two Sons and some more. These
occasions that occurred in the film, envisioning that God needs us to be. Unfortunately, today
similar to the Pharisees in the film, many proclaiming Christian asserting to realize Christ yet
overlooking his works. Many have realized that Jesus surrender his life for us yet at the same
time disregarding his assertion (The Bible today) and still continues erring that incites God
considerably more.
