Course Title : Automotive electrical
Course Credit : 5 units: 2 hour lecture 9 hours laboratory per week: total of 198 hours/semester
Prerequisite : none

Course Description:

This course deals with the operating principle, service repair, and maintenance of automotive electrical systems such as the starting, charging,
ignition, preheating, lighting, signal, hazard, information/ gauge circuit, horn, wiper, and washer circuits system. It also includes automotive electrical
circuit wiring connection and troubleshooting.

Course Intended Learning Outcomes:


At the end of the semester, the students are expected to:
1. define and describe automotive electrical;
2. service, repair and maintain automotive electrical system; and
3. demonstrate work values and maintain integrity of conduct in the workplace.
