Rules that explain comparative adjectives form

  One syllable adjective:

add -er to the end.

Ex. a strawberry is smaller than an apple

 For two- three syllable adjectives:

use the form “more + adjective.”

The white house is more beautiful than the pink


Ex.
house.

 For two-syllable adjectives ending in -y, change the -y to -i and add


-er.

Ex. Felipe Avello is funnier than Bombo Fica.
