                 Reference: Notification in national newspaper dated 20-04-2020 to set up high

level task                                     force for vaccine/drug development and testing
 

I, Vaijayanthi Raghavan, PhD in Biotechnology and an independent researcher cum

trainer from Bengaluru, Karnataka learnt that central government has announced to set up
a high-level task force for vaccine/ drug development and testing for Covid-19.

 I am very keen and would like to contribute in any given opportunity in the effort for
Vaccine/ Drug development. I have work experience in projects related to various diseases
such as Cancer, HIV and malaria. My expertise is in Bioinformatics and drug design and
have around 25 years of experience in industry, teaching and research. In this regard, I
would like to send my detailed CV for your kind consideration.

  Currently, I am working independently on Peptide-based drugs for Covid-19 using

computational methodologies so as to get clues and to short list peptides that can turn
out to be probable candidates for further research and validation.

  I would find myself fortunate to be part of the Covid-19 research team and
subsequently contribute for the findings to the best of my capacity to serve the nation.

Due to the Covid-19 situation, I am unable to send the hard copies of the documents but
once the situation eases I will post these documents.
