Frequently Asked Questions
1. How will the trade be considered executed/not executed?
The process will work the following way: you will place your orders prior to the next
session which will include your preferred price. If your price falls within the high-low
prices of your stock in the session, then your trade will be executed.

2. Will trade happen on weekends and holidays?

Similar to the NSE market, virtual trading will be closed for the weekends as well as
holidays. These are the NSE holidays for the month of May

3. Are we allowed intra-day trading?

Yes, however, you will give your orders before the session opens.

4. Are Futures and Options Trading Allowed?

No, trading will be permitted only in NSE Cash market (equity trading).

5. Will we be allowed to short sell?

Since this is virtual trading, short selling will be allowed with a margin requirement of
100%. However, credit will not be given for short selling i.e. against this short selling, you
cannot buy another share.

6. What happens if my order doesn’t get executed?

The order will be automatically cancelled and you will have to place it again for the next
session.

7. If the share closes at upper/lower circuit, then what will happen to the order?
If the high and low price of the scrip is the SAME, then it is assumed that this share
opened at upper/lower circuit. Therefore, this order will not be considered as executed.

8. Are Stop Loss Orders allowed?

Yes, Stop Loss orders will be allowed. You will have to specify the order as SL in order
filling sheet.

9. Can we put a trailing Stop Loss?

No, because we will be managing the trades based on the session’s high low prices so
trailing the STOP loss or trailing the price isn’t possible on the same day.

10. Will I be able to carry forward my positions?

Yes, you may carry forward your position. However, at the end of the month, your
positions will be squared-off at closing prices.

11. Will we be getting a detailed report of our open positions at the end of each day?
We will be providing Virtual Trade Confirmations. We will be trying our best to provide
daily reports including virtual open position and virtual financial statement. Although it
will be great if you could keep track of it on your end as well.
