the structural and molecular formula

 If you remember I taught you the topic of covalent bonding and ionic bonding

can you open that notes, so when you will see, suppose molecular formula of

NaCl it is NaCl right?

 So what you observed in the molecular formula there is only elements or atoms

but are you able to see any bonding or sharing of the electron?

 No, you can’t bcoz it is simply written as NaCl but when you look at the

structural formula of NaCl, you have to find out the atomic number first then

you will see that there is lose and gain of electrons and after that, there is some

charge on both the elements.

 So basically there is a bonding between NaCl when you see covalent bonding

there also you will observe that there is sharing of electrons so when you are

representing the bonds of those compounds that are a structural formula.

 The molecular formula is just each element of the molecule and the number of

each of these elements, while the structural formula is when the structure is

drawn out individually

 Explanation:

 For example, glucose molecular formula is C6H12O6, but its structural formula

is as follows
 As you can see the structural formula shows the bonding and structure of each
molecule and each individual element
 Molecular formulas contain no information about the arrangement of atoms.
Because of this, one molecular formula can describe a number of different
chemical structures. A structural formula is used to indicate not only the number
of atoms but also their arrangement in space.
 I hope you understand this and still if it is not clear do revert me
