(These words are used to ask for information)
WHAT, WHERE, WHEN, WHY, WHICH, WHO, HOW, HOW OLD, HOW MANY

What: (wɔt) We can use what to ask for information about something. It means
qué or cuál in Spanish.
Where: (wә:r) We can use where to ask for information about place, it means dónde
in Spanish.
When: (wen) We can use when to ask for the time, it means cuándo in Spanish.
Why: (waI) We can use why to ask for reasons, it means por qué in Spanish.

Which: (wItʃ) We can use which to ask about choice, it means cuál in Spanish.

Who: (hu:) We can use who to identify a person or persons, it means quién or
quiénes in Spanish.
How : (hau) We can use how to ask about the manner or quality or conditions, it
means cómo in Spanish.
How old: (hau ɔld) We can use how old to ask for age. It means qué edad, cuántos años.
How many: (hau menI) We can use how many to ask about the number of things. It means
cuántos (as) in Spanish.
