    start - starting add ing consonant + vowel + consonant

    2. If the verb ends in e run - running
    cut e add ing 4. If the verb ends in ie stop - stopping
    not for -ie or –ee cut ie add y then add ing
    live - living die - dying 6. Do not double if final letter is

    mix - mixing
