Sacrifice can be defined as giving something


that is costly to someone else or to a cause.
• It can be in form of money.
• It can be in form of material.

• It can be in form of time.
• It can be in form of energy.
• It can be in form of service.
• It is always propelled by deep love
and sense of responsibility.
Sacrifice as a Personal Value
• Sacrifice comes with cheerfulness.
• Any giving or service
that does not cost
you deeply and
personally is not
sacrificial.
Benefits of Sacrifice
• Sacrifice is pleasing to God. –Hebrews 13:16.
• Sacrificial giving engenders bountiful reward-
Luke 6:38.
• Whatever cause you sacrifice
time, resources and energy
on ultimately becomes successful
and is accompanied by reward.

• It is developed by people.
• To develop sacrifice as a
personal value, you will
have to do some things repeatedly.
