    Task : How To Set Up A Dance Floor Duration :

    Objective : To set the dance floor according to the department standard

    Task Breakdown

    STEP (How) STANDARD EQUIPMENT


    REQUIRED
    1. Select trolley of dance • Depend on the requirement of the client Dance floor
    floor • All dance floors and trimming are in
    good condition

    2. Push the trolley into the • Clear path way for movement of trolley Trolley
    room • Move at brisk walking pace
    • Maintain visual contact with the
    direction of movement

    3. Align first piece of dance • In line with the center alignment first
    floor row of dance floor
    • Size of dance floor should be according
    to the specifications laid down on the
    event order
    • The side of the dance floor with jagged
    edge to be at top end of the the dance
    floor

    4. Completed first row • Work to left and right of the piece


    • Ensure the joints are secured correctly
    5. Set the trimmers • Once all rows is completed
    • The mechanism to secure the dance
    floor is working
