First Day Guide
It is our pleasure to welcome you at SDG SIPL (www.sdgc.com) .This document has been
designed to make you comfortable for the functioning in first few days. The detailed induction
program will cover the other policies and procedures which will be held at a later date.
Attendance
For first few days you are to enter your attendance details in the register kept at reception for
this purpose after completion of your background check you will be provided permanent
access cum identity card you are to mark your attendance by the same.
Other/additional work shifts working hours and work days may be established within the limits
prescribed by law, based on operating conditions and requirements of the company.
Flexi Hours
We provide the facility of flexi hrs working to our employees. For details pls. find the below
example:-
1. Members can arrive for work between 8:30 am and 10:00 am and leave between 5:30
pm and 7:00 pm, subject to putting in 9 hours in office and prior approval from reporting
manager.
2. In case any member has to attend emergency during office hours, he/she can go out for
2 hours at any time of the day, ensuring that they have put 9 hours of work. This
privilege can be availed only once a month with prior approval from reporting manager.
However, one is expected to complete his/her work assigned in the specified time /period and
may be required to stretch whatever required.
Dress Code:
You can dress informally on Fridays, but shorts and slippers are not allowed.
Cafeteria Facilities:
The company has canteen You can buy lunch coupons from the vendor in the cafeteria.
Each Coupon costs 35/- RS (It not a mandatory requirement to have lunch from
cafeteria)
The employee coming in late evening shifts or general shift and staying back till 9:00 pm
can take free dinner at cafeteria
Tea/Coffee/water Cooler:
All floors have Tea/coffee vending machines in addition to water cooler and different types of
biscuit. You can refresh yourself by availing these facilities at no cost.
Each employee is provided a work station and a telephone (Shared telephone) strictly for
officials calls.
Each employee is provided an official email account in outlook. Employees can send and receive
mails as per their work requirements. After you have been assigned the system you can access
your mails. In case of any problem/difficulty, contact the network department@4191
Network:

The company provides assistance in transportation for employees in shifts starting after 6 pm
till 7am. The company provides an exception after 10 pm for droop facility which can be
provided with approval of reporting manager.
The details of transport routes are available with admin representative at reception/security.
First AID :-
First aid box is kept at reception under the supervision of front desk executive . You can avail
first aid facilities in case of minor injury and illness.
Internet:
Please spend some time going through the company internet, the following are some of the
prominent sites
Any movement outside office (for both official and personal work) during office hours must
be within the permission of immediate supervisor and should be entered in the movement
register kept at security guard at the main gate.
Madiclaim:-
As per SDG benefit plan, each employee is provided Mediclaim Coverage up to Rs-
2,00,000/-for self and dependants(as per details below).
The group madiclaim coverage will be 2 lakhs and SDG will bear the full premium for the
coverage upto 2 lakhs for the employee and dependent.
In addition to above SDG provides Personal Accident coverage up to Rs 2,00,000/ for self
Timesheet-ITMS
In this Software you will find the timesheets which are generated on weekly basis
All members are required to complete their timesheets and submit them on weekly basis (in
relevant network folder)

On joining SDG, all members are required to submit the following documents for the HR
records:
Members are required to inform HR about any change(s) in their personal information
within 3 working days. Address for communication, contact phone numbers (mobile/home),
educational qualification, and additional members in family, change in information for
insurance, change in marital status.
Keep HR updated on the above will unable updates in the relevant personal records and
with concerned departments
Employee Code
All employees will be assigned a unique Employee code on joining e.g. SDG-00X, which will
be used for identification/ reference purposes in all official correspondence between the
member and the company
