1. What is imagery?
2. Give examples of statements that employ imagery?

C. Motivation
Exploratory activity:
The students will bring an essay or a short article in class. Encircle all
the verbs used in the essay. Classify whether the verbs used are in the
active voice or passive voice.

D. Activity
Set Work:
Activity #1: The students are given some example statements. Using the
active voice, they will rewrite the sentences to make more vivid forceful.

Activity #2: The students are given same example statements. Choosing
the correct connotations, they will replace the underlined words better
synonyms. The may use a dictionary, a thesaurus, or Google.
