Abstract

The present investigation had the problem to what extent the determination and

evaluation of the pathologies of the concrete in columns, walls and confined masonry

surpluses of the perimeter fence of the educational institution 1563 Christ king friend

of the children, will allow us to obtain the level of severity of the pathologies that affect

the structure? In order to answer this question, the general objective was to determine

and evaluate the pathologies of concrete in columns, walls and confined masonry

overlays of the perimeter fence of the educational institution 1563 Christ the Friend of

Children located in the district of Nuevo Chimbote, Province of Santa, department of

Ancash. The methodology used was descriptive-qualitative, non-experimental and

cross-sectional. The population was conformed by all the infrastructure of the

Educational Institution 1563 Christ king friend of the children, and the sample was the

fifteen sample units analyzed and extracted from the perimeter fence of the educational

institution 1563 Christ king friend of the children. For data collection, an evaluation

form was used, which recorded all the pathological lesions found in the field. The

obtained results revealed that the most frequent pathology in the structure of the

perimeter fence is the efflorescence with an area of total affectation of 22.30 m2

corresponding to a 7.26%, the degree of affectation is moderate at the level of the entire

perimeter fence analyzed.
