 Project Competition for Identification of Socially Relevant Projects

This competition is for identifying socially relevant projects that can be developed and
implemented for the benefit of society.

Rules and Regulations

1. The registered teams have to present their project before a selection committee.
2. The competition is open for all the fulltime students of University Not limited to NSS
Volunteers.
3. The maximum number of participants in a team is limited to 6.
4. It is not necessary to bring the project model/product for presentations but a functioning
model/product will add advantage to project team.
5. UG and PG academic projects and other projects can be submitted for competitions but
must be socially relevant. Projects are void if they are in whole or part illegible,
incomplete, and altered, counterfeit, obtained through fraud, or late.
6. During registration the team leader have to upload one page abstract about the project.
7. Teams will be selected for preliminary levels by regional convener based on abstract.
8. Each team selected for preliminary level should present a power point presentation of 20
minutes duration before the judging panel followed by 10 minutes discussion as per
schedule published by regional convener through online platform.
9. Each project will be judged by two-member panel of experts and decisions of panel will
be finial.
10. From the preliminary round presentation carried out at 6 regions 30 projects will be
selected for finials.
11. Date and venue of final round of competition will be announced after completion of
preliminary rounds.Selected teams from preliminary level is obliged to participate on the
final level of competition and the selected projects in the preliminary level will be given
consolation prizes of Rs 1000 each, only at the venue of final rounds.
12. The projects selected in preliminary round are eligible for consolations prizes only if
they participate in the final round.
13. The selected five award recipients from final round, 1 st Prize will receive an award and
Rs.10,000, 2nd Prize for the two teams will receive an award and Rs.5000 eachand 3 rd
prize will receive an award and Rs.3000 each for the remaining two teams. APJ Abdul
Kalam Technological University NSS Cell will be giving an opportunity to receive
limited support and technical assistance for the best projects from the competition
winners to help their vision a reality.
14. Registrations for preliminary round may be completed before 12.07.2020 using the link
