The Automobile

HS Art 100

"In tyrannizing the city, it (the automobile) has destroyed many essential
urban qualities. It has spawned the endless monotony of sprawling suburbia
along with other development, billboards, etc. But the automobile has made
a positive contribution to our environment, particularly in terms of the visual
experience."

The car is the means of transport that causes the most impacts, which is more
expensive, and the one that consumes the most energy.

I think that we currently live in a society where people focus on creating

improvements in the automobile area and investing a lot of money in advertising.
They are so focused on expanding technology, more innovative cars that ignore
the essentials development of the urban area. The investment in ideas of
improvements in cars or advertising of these I think is something selfish since
being able to take into account other projects that improve the urban area, or to
invest in advertisements that are beneficial and beneficial for the integral urban
development of a territory It is important.

I also think that cars, even if people think it benefits them, create chaos. Traffic,
noise, smoke, insecurity in the areas as they can be violently attacked to steals
cars. Anyway, I think that focusing on Car Development is not right. It is helpful on
the one hand, but negative on the other.

A good visual environment should not only be seen in the amount or development
of cars but rather in buildings, parks, places of public use. An artist who thinks
about urban growth, would focus on doing something that generates a common
benefit in people and not only to a individual through the acquisition (which is very
expensive) of these cars.
Developing in the urban area by changing the visual environment of man would be
a good decision that would help the optimal development of urban areas around
the world.
