APPLICATION FOR EXTENSION OF TIME (EOT) TO THE
MINISTRY OF HOUSING AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT (KPKT)
DUE TO THE MOVEMENT CONTROL ORDER (MCO)

1) Can my company apply for EOT due to MCO?
Yes, developers can submit the EOT application to KPKT. However, priority will be given
to projects that are due for delivery during MCO and those with expected CCC before
30 September 2020. FOR ANY DELIVERY OF VACANT POSSESSION DURING MCO
PERIOD, DEVELOPERS ARE REQUIRED TO NOTIFY THEIR PURCHASERS (THROUGH
REGISTERED MAIL) ON THE DELAY OF DELIVERY OF VACANT POSSESSION
PENDING THE DECISION OF THE APPEAL BY KPKT.
2) What is the process to apply for EOT?
Please refer to Appendix 1 for Tatacara Permohonan Rayuan Pelanjutan Serahan
Milikan Kosong Diakibatkan Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Bermula 18 Mac 2020 by
KPKT.
Kindly ensure all required documents are in order and complete before submission to
KPKT. KPKT WILL NOT entertain application status inquiries by phone or e-mail within
the processing timeline.
