VISITATION GUIDELINES – EFFECTIVE 7/2/20

LCMHS is enacting a “NO VISITOR” policy on all campuses with the following
guidelines
IN-PATIENTS

 One designated visitor may be allowed for patients requiring family presence to provide
care
o Must wear a personal mask at all times while in the facility including in the
patient room
o Visitors may enter the building one time per day and are not allowed to come
and go
 Pediatrics are allowed two parent/legal guardian visitors
o Must wear a personal mask at all times while in the facility including in the
patient room
o Parents are not allowed to come and go multiple times during the day
 Exceptions made based on end-of-life and critical illness per the care team

CLINIC

 No visitors unless required to provide personal care or communication with the team.
 Visitors are not allowed to come and go
 Personal mask to be worn at all times

SURGERY, CATH LAB, ENDOSCOPY, OUTPATIENT DIAGNOSTICS (LAB, X-RAY)

 No visitors unless required to provide personal care or communication with the team
 Visitors are not allowed to come and go
 Personal mask to be worn at all times
ED

 No visitors unless patient needs personal care or communication


 Children may have parents/legal guardians present
 Visitors are not allowed to come and go
 Personal mask to be worn at all times

WOMEN’S HOSPITAL

 One designated visitors (significant other/parent/grandparent)


 Must wear a personal mask upon entry into the facility and at all times while in the
facility including in the patient room
 Visitors can enter the building one time per day and are not allowed to “come and go”
 One visitor may stay overnight. Visitors not staying overnight must exit the building by
8:00 p.m.

EARLY LABOR EVALUATION (ELE)

 No visitors

WOMEN’S SURGERY

 No visitors unless patient requires visitor for personal care


 Children may have parents/legal guardians present
o Personal mask must be worn at all times

WOMEN’S OUTPATIENT DIAGNOSTICS (LAB, X-RAY)

 No visitors

BEHAVIORAL HEALTH

 No visitors
