The Waratah HTH250-HD is a thinning harvester head built for superior performance in
harvesting.
The HTH250-HD features the highly efficient SuperCut 100 saw unit to fell trees up to 570 mm
(22.4 in.) and process trees up to 500 mm (19.7 in.) in diameter. The SuperCut saw unit minimizes
bucking damage and, with its integrated automatic chain lubrication and tensioning system,
improves cutting performance while reducing maintenance time. The optional three-color marking
system improves accuracy and ensures low dye consumption.
The radial piston feed motors give you a powerful feed force. And the new shape of delimbing
knives — four moving, two fixed — covers a larger area of the stem, ensuring excellent delimbing
quality.

superior performance in regeneration harvesting.
The H290 features the highly efficient SuperCut 100 saw unit and can fell and process trees up to

highly maneuverable even in dense thinning stands as well as in early regeneration.
Characterized by its powerful and slip-free four-wheel-drive feed with four hydraulic feed motors,
the H414’s proven EV02 valve provides efficient hydraulic oil flow and head control. Its main-
frame is machined after being welded as one piece, giving it high durability and dimensional
accuracy. New feed roller arms feature more durable bearings, built-in feed roller guards,
strengthened cylinders and pins, and well-protected hose routings.
Four moving delimbing knives, along with one fixed top knife and one fixed back knife, follow
the contours of the stem. The redesigned knife geometry and long cutting edges ensure excel-
lent delimbing quality for all stem diameters.
The highly efficient SuperCut 100 saw unit has a maximum felling diameter of 620 mm (24.4 in.),
giving the H414 superb performance from early thinnings to early regeneration felling. The
automatic chain lubrication and tensioning of the SuperCut saw unit improve the H414’s cutting

The Waratah H460 is a lightweight, all-round harvester head designed to handle a wide
range of harvesting jobs — from first thinning to light regeneration harvesting. Its compact
frame design provides an excellent power-to-weight ratio. And its powerful, well-positioned saw
unit ensures fast and precise felling and crosscutting.
The H460 features four feed rollers that surround the stem. This unique, continuous four-wheel
drive, with hydraulically connected feed rollers and mechanical differential lock, ensures
strong, fast feeding — for hours at a time.
Thanks to its short frame and the optimal placement of its one fixed delimbing and five moving
knives, the Waratah H460 gives you superb delimbing performance on bent timber. The H460 is
suitable for work with multi-tree-handling equipment.

The Waratah HTH616C — Lightweight and versatile, this harvester head is perfect for
processing small wood out of a deck, working behind a buncher, or cutting and delimbing post
and rail in a mill yard.
The HTH616C can easily be installed on carriers for thinning and final-felling wood at an optimal
40 cm (16 in.) in diameter. It gives you the same great features of the larger heads — synchro-
nized drive, topping saw, and more.
We’ve also worked in a number of upgrades including two feed-motor options, a redesigned
saw box, bronze delimb, and feeding bushings. Plus, we’ve improved the rotator. And that’s just
the beginning. This is a machine that takes flexibility, serviceability, durability, and control to a
whole new level.
The HTH616C was redesigned for improved efficiency and durability.

The Waratah HTH618C — When you’re out in the woods, running back to the shop for a
different piece of equipment isn’t always an option. So you want to make sure what you’ve got
is up to the job — it's one of the things that makes the Waratah HTH618C so attractive.
Building on the versatility, efficiency, and durability of the HTH616C, the HTH618C adds double
bottom knives for increased stem coverage, resulting in improved delimbing or debarking qual-
ity (depending on the configuration).
Even with additional knives and topping saw, the HTH618C retains a short, robust chassis that
can easily be positioned in tight spots while selective thinning or taking on the bent and ugly
timber for which this series is famous.

The Waratah HTH622B is the most popular heavy-duty, all-round harvester/processor head.
Engineered to handle a wide range of applications — in the toughest conditions, the HTH622B
is highly efficient in either stump-to-stump harvesting or roadside processing. Its find-end fea-
ture, topping saw, and TimberRite measuring system work together for extraordinarily accurate,
intelligent processing results.
Other features include a stronger body design with strengthened hanging bracket and double
shear pins. Plus. we’ve redesigned the hydraulic system and provided additional clearance for
the saw unit and higher visibility throughout the head. The HTH622B offers a fixed knife in the

new HTH625C Harvester Head and its logger-suggested features. Your ideas give this head the
option of full 360-degree rotation. Then there’s the suggestion of building a harvester head that
can delimb in timber 20–60 cm (7.9–23.6 in.) in diameter with a single pass. Other fresh cus-
tomer ideas include a hanging bracket that helps position the heaviest loads, high-performance

The efficient SuperCut 300 saw unit provides fast cutting cycles and a maximum felling diameter
of 850 mm (33.5 in.). The SuperCut saw unit’s automatic chain lubrication and tensioning

There’s a hydraulic snubber for controlled side-to-side motion, high grapple arm gripping force

Here is a simple and reliable controller for hardwood and
debarking applications. TR100 not only doesn’t require a PC, you
won’t even need a mouse or keyboard. This icon-based system
allows operators worldwide with minimal training to perform
basic processing and felling using the system’s trackpad.
Here’s the Run Screen — where operators monitor harvester
operation — with at-a-glance icons for Piece and Stem Count,
as well as Length, Diameter, and Volume Cut, among other
measurements.
There are adjustment settings on the Feeding Screen for
Feed Arms and Upper- and Lower-Delimb Knives, based
on percentage available, so your operators do not need to
be trained on the innerworkings of this head to adjust its
operation.
For extra security, many features on the TR100 — like
configuration and diagnostic settings — require a
password for settings to be changed.
Through the Saw Setting Screen, your operator sets saw
pressure and oiling rate, clamp diameter, and more — all
from the machine’s cab.
Other features include diagnostics of the harvester head
outputs, saw sensors, filter indicators, and communication
pathways on additional TR100 screens.
The Cutting Table Screen allows for two species to be
specified, with up to 20 presets for each. Presets include
small-end diameter (SED), minimum length, target length,

Cut lists are input at the machine, or created on a
spreadsheet and uploaded via USB.
