3. Application of value engineering in projects undertaken for minimum losses. After studying value
engineering, student groups will design their own goals for projects undertaken.
4. Identify and forecast demand of a product and plan its inventory accordingly.
Course outcomes:
The following objectives are expected on completion of the course.
1, Students are expected to cite the scope and applications of production Management required for
decision making in various manufacturing sectors.
2, Students will plan the plant layout of an organization.
The students are introduced to the concept and importance of value engineering, After studying value
engineering, student groups will design their own goals for projects undertaken. They will implement
their objectives and goals for successful completion.
