GUIDELINES IN THE CONDUCT OF FINAL EXAMINATION IN

PRACTICE COURT 1
JUNE 25, 2020

1. SCHOOLOGY is the primary platform that will be utilized in the
conduct of final examination. Thus, test questionnaire shall be
uploaded in the said platform.

2. Students are required to create a SCHOOLOGY ACCOUNT after they
have watched and understood the instructional video shared by
their respective class beadle.

3. In creating an account, please use the following format:

Email or Username: (use the official email account that your
professor required you to make)
Password: (set your password) TAKE NOTE OF YOUR PASSWORD

4. The date and time of the examination shall be as follows:

July 2, 12nn to 230pm for Thursday 530 to 730 class
July 2, 230pm to 430pm for Thursday 730 to 930 class
July 3, 12nn to 230pm for Friday 530 to 730 class
July 3, 230pm to 430pm for Friday 730 to 930 class
July 5, 1pm to 330pm for Sunday 1pm to 3pm class
July 5, 330pm to 530pm for Sunday 3pm to 5pm class

5. Students are advised to log in to SCHOOLOGY at least thirty (30)-
minutes before the scheduled time of the examination. Please click
the refresh “button” or “refresh key” every five (5) minutes so that
the main menu of the portal shall be updated.

An “access code” which will be encoded in the “schoology” portal
shall be given to the class beadle ten (10) minutes before the exam
officially starts. The class beadle shall then inform his/her
classmates of the access code. Once the test questions are available
in the portal, you may begin answering the examinations. Official
remaining time is also reflected in the portal.

6. Please be advised that the questionnaire shall be available only
during the period of the examination. Thereafter, the questionnaire
cannot be viewed anymore. The portal is also customized in a
manner that you can skip the question/s that your cannot answer
and go back to the unanswered question/s if time permits. Make
sure that you are confident with your answers before clicking the
“submit” key.

7. Students are likewise requested to download OBS STUDIO screen
recording software. This is a security application to monitor what
commands or actions you do in your screen during the
examination.

8. For “sign up” or “log in purposes” in the OBS STUDIO, students are
required to use their official email account and input a password
that you wish to use. Refrain from using your full name.

9. After clicking the “submit” key in the “schoology” portal after the
students finished answering the questions, students are required to
upload to the google drive account described below, the entire OBS
STUDIO recording:

10. On the day of the scheduled examination, you will be monitored
thru Google Meet. Thus, make sure that your laptop or desktop has
web cam. More, provide a big mirror to be placed at your back
(fronting the webcam) so that the proctor can see what is displayed
on the computer monitor. Invitation to join the Google Meet will be
sent to student’s official gmail account.

11. Clear your work table. No notes, hand outs, review materials, books
or codal must been seen on the work table. A copy of this
guidelines will also be posted in the Instruction portion of the
schoology portal together with additional instructions, if any.

12. ANY FORM OF CHEATING SHALL BE DEALT WITH
ACCORDINGLY.

13. In case of technical glitches in the “schoology portal” and the
students and the proctors cannot access it anymore, the following
guidelines shall apply:

a. Type your answer in “MS WORD format.” Answer the test
questions in the same manner the questions are posted. After
you finished answering all the questions, save your answer in
“PDF” format using the filename <student number><initial in 3
letters><class schedule and time>

b. Send the same to:

c. Official announcement shall come from the proctor to shift from
schoology to MS WORD.

d. The requirements under paragraphs (7), (8), (9) (as far as the
submission of the OBS STUDIO recording is concerned) and (10)
shall also be followed.

14. A practice schoology examination will be conducted from June 27,
2020 (Saturday) starting 8am. Practice exam shall be available in
schoology until June 30, 2020, 1030pm. You may take the exam and
submit your answers within the said period. Students are required
to take the practice exam which will form part of class standings.
For practice examination, no need to use OBS STUDIO and GOOGLE
MEET platforms.
