We Save the
Ocean

Why do we need to
protect ourSeas produce half of the oxygen we breathe, regulates the weather,
absorbs a third of our gas emissions, source of food for a billion people,
and a home for some of the precious wildlife on Earth. In other words, the

Oceans? ocean holds the key to many of the most challenging tasks facing the
world today.

Now we realize how dependent we are on this fragile planet, particularly

on these oceans.

Meanwhile, plastic pollution increases, ocean dumping become common,

climate change, mining, and overfishing, the threats facing our oceans get
urgent every day.

We don't want to imagine if our ocean won't function as it supposed to,

are we? So, we know we need to act now, but what can we, as
individuals, do to save our ocean?
 Campaigns
REPLACE ALL THE PLASTIC BOTTLE TO GLASS

From this year onwards, PT. Emerio Indonesia (An NTT Ltd. company)
committed not to use any plastic bottle for any occasion to reduce the
waste of plastic used in and outside the office, hotel, and etc .
Additionally, all of our employees in the back office use their own bottle
/ glass to drink.

WORKSHOP FOR SAVE THE OCEAN CAMPAIGN

As part of save the ocean campaign that inline with SDG's life below the water,
we would like to conduct a workshop on how we can participate in saving the
ocean.

PROMOTE NON-PLASTIC LIFESTYLE

The next action that we took is to promote the non-plastic lifestyle
to our employees through promoting our merchandise, such as
NTT Ltd. bottle and a goodie bag that we hope can inspire them
to replace the need for plastic bottles and bags.

We will be putting a recycle box around the office for employees to bring their
plastics waste, since here in Indonesia it is still difficult to find place where we
can recycle our waste, therefore it would be a good idea where we can
accomodate that. Accumulation of these plastic will be sent to the nearest
Bank Sampah to be recycled.

1 FOR 5 PROGRAM

To trigger our employees to participate, we plan to create a
program in which they will receive points (depend on the
specification of the bottle)an when they accumulate 100 points
they will be rewarded.
