"SSCT celebrated it's 2nd COLLEGE WEEK 2019"

With the theme “SSCT synergy amidst diversity of global excellence" Surigao State College of
Technology celebrated its 2nd College week on February 18-22 2019

On the first day of the long-week was started with a grace mass held at the old library at exactly
6:00am after the mass was the opening parade by different colleges wearing their perspective
attire, It was then followed by the activities such as The fiesta bazaar, Skills Olympics, Switch it
up challenge, Hair and make-up, card relay, putukan na and dance contest. These events were
hosted by the College of Technology (COT)

The second day featured the talents and skills of the students the activities held are Radio
Drama, sweet play, hip-hop dance, contemporary quiz bowl and musical contest. These are all
participated by the students representing their college. And on the night was the search of MR
& MS SSCT 2019 out of the 16 candidates Mr. Relanio E. Navallo II from (SSCT Claver) and Ms.
Cariza Razil manasan from College of Teacher Education (SSCT Main Campus) crowed as the Mr
and Ms SSCT 2019. These activities was hosted by the College of arts and Science and Senior
High School (CAS & SHS)

The Third day of the long week was meant to test the intelligence of SSCTians in the said the
battle of brain contest and the newest mobile game named "MOBILE LEGEND" is part of the
activities; this is the first mobile game in the campus. Amazing race contest is also included. The
third day was hosted by the College of Engineering and Information Technolgy (CEIT)

The fourth day of long-week celebration featured the different literary contest like Spelling bee,
essay writing, extemporaneous speech, storytelling, and the zumba dance contest hosted by
the College of Teacher Education (CTE) .The last day of the week (Day-5) was the Talent show
this contest was participated by different organizations and clubs in the campus. The battle of
the band was also an attractive contest. The Final day was also the awarding of winners in all
the activities held throughout the week, The College of Teacher Education claimed as the Back
to Back Champion. The last day was hosted by Supreme School Government (SSG), the week-
long celebration was deemed successful by the cooperation of school administration, faculty
and the students.
