seeding, tree plantation) At least 3 quotation are required from vendors and need to be submitted.

(2) Portal structure at Km 430 for valley side widening

(a) Comment-There is no backup of rates of different items taken.

Reply-All rates are taken from SOR Jakholi and for other items Quotation of 3 Vendors are
attached.

(b) Under column heading, there is no drawing showing dimensions from grid 1-1, 5-5, 6-6, 7-7.

The height taken in rate analysis are also not clear, as it is showing varying height. It should be clear
from drawing itself. Say for instance in grid 1-1, the height cited in rate analysis should be clearly
mentioned in drawing.

(c) Comment-Under Longitudinal beam heading grid A-A’ and B-B’ are not shown in drawing. It
is difficult to read. The lengths taken i.e. 74.5m and 37.25m should be mentioned in drawing in order
to have clear picture.

(d) Comment- Under Top Slab heading the thickness i.e. 250mm is not mentioned in drawing.

(e) Comment-There is no backup of reinforcement i.e. 264MT. There should be some supporting
documents attached regarding calculation of steel to be used.

Reply-Steel Quantity are taken as per standard practice for Beam and Column. In general,
for all DPR purposals it is taken as 120-160 Kg/Cum so in our estimate accordingly steel quantity
has been taken as 120kg/cum.

(f) Comment-The rates which are not Shown in SOR, must have at least 3 quotations from
vendor list.
