National Achievement Test

Introduction

The school plays a great role in the vital development of


every learner. It is the institution responsible in molding the youth
to become responsible and productive citizens of the society.
The importance of National Achievement Test is to assess
the knowledge of every private and public school student in order
to provide appropriate interventions for the students thus,
improve the quality of education in public schools.

Rationale

National Achievement Test of Grade 10 students for the


school year 2016-2017, pursuant to DepEd Order No. 23 s.
2016 entitled school calendar for 2016-2017 and DepEd
Order No.55 s. 2016 entitled Policy Guidelines on the
National Assessment of Student Learning for the K to 12
Basic Education Program on October 10, 2017 to Grade 11
students of both public and private schools.

PEOPLE INVOLVED:

The San Nicolas National High School administrators,


Senior High School staff, teachers and students were
involved in the activity. There were three hundred forty nine
(349) students registered but two (2) of them was not able to
take the examination because one was in Manila securing
papers going abroad and the other one was at their province
attending an important matter.

MONITORING AND SUPERVISION:

The National Achievement Test was a successful


venture through the guidance and supervision of the School
Administrators with the full cooperation of teacher examiners.

INDICATORS:

The end results of the National Achievement Test, with


the joint efforts of the School Administrators, Senior High
School Staff and Teachers and Students was a success.
