This innovative and robust 2U fixed patch panel has been designed to accept up to
96 fibres.
The ability to use a full array of adaptor types offers a flexible solution to the end
user; enabling them to incorporate a multifunctional panel, which allows easy access
during installation or re-work, with no disturbance to the existing cable or fibres.
In addition to an array of adaptors the panel also offers multiple cable entry solutions,
up to 8 standard entry points for loose tube, tight buffered, pre-terminated and steel
tape armoured cable.

1U Sliding Patch Panels
Our sliding patch panel system, in its basic form, is supplied with unloaded panels,
ready for you to install your adaptor of choice. The panel can also be pre-loaded
complete with your choice of adaptor and a simple splice management kit, or pre-
loaded with pigtails. The tray is locked in place by two, simple to operate, plastic
latches. When fully extended the tray is designed to lower to 45°, or by moving the
tray to the side, it will lock to a shallower 10°. This provides the perfect working
platform for simple installation and provides easy maintenance and access even
after the panel has been installed in the rack.

This innovative and robust 2U sliding patch panel has been designed
to accept up to 96 fibres. The solution incorporates a multifunctional
panel which allows for easy access during installation or rework with no
disturbance of the existing cable or fibres. The panel offers multiple cable
entry solutions including up to 8 standard cable entry points for loose
tube, tight buffer, pre-terminated and steel tape armoured cable. Each
panel has integrated strength member tie positions and the removable
plate at the rear of the panel allows for the installation of steel tape

This innovative, robust, high density 3U Chassis has been designed to accept
up to 14 LGX style cassettes.
The ability to use a full array of adaptor types offers a flexible solution to the
end user, enabling them to incorporate a multifunctional chassis which allows
easy access during installation or re-work with no disturbance to the existing
cable or fibres.
In addition to the array of adaptors, the chassis also offers multiple cable entry
solutions: loose tube cable connecting to 14 individual extended cassettes to
allow standard splicing or 14 LGX style modules for pre-terminated solutions
also MPO/MTP trunk cables connected to 14 individual MPO/MTP cassettes
with up to 24 fibres in each. Making this chassis one of the most flexible on

Our complete range of innovative, robust AM style optical panels are
manufactured in high-grade steel and aluminium and feature a smoked
Plexiglas hinged safety door mounted on the on the front of the panel. These
panels accept MPO/MTP cassettes or LGX-style adaptor plates, both of which
are available in a wide variety of configurations.
This line of panels offers a highly flexible solution. By allowing easy access
during installation or re-working these panels enable the installer to incorporate
a multifunctional chassis in to their infrastructure with little or no disturbance to
the existing cables or fibres.
This family of panels also offers multiple cable entry solutions which allow
MPO/MTP trunks, pre-terminated cables or LT/TB/breakout cables to be easily
connected internally via the highly flexible internal management spools and
splice cassettes, making these panels some of the most flexible on the market.

This robust case is designed to house LGX modules when used in patch panels with
LGX footprints or in the 3U LGX chassis. The case allows for up to 24 splices from
pigtails to incoming fibre from a cable, it also includes a hole for a cable entry and cable
gland plus strain tie locations as standard. The interchangeable LGX modules provide
a flexible solution to the user allowing a range of different adaptor types.

MPO/MTP Cassette Modules
These MPO/MTP Cassette Modules provide secure transition between
MPO/MTP and LC or SC discrete connectors. They are used to interconnect
MPO/MTP backbones with LC or SC patching.
Modular system allows for rapid deployment of high density data centre
infrastructure as well as improved troubleshooting and re-configuration
during moves, adds and changes. Cassettes can be mounted in 1U or 3U
19” multi-slot chassis.
MPO/MTP Cassettes contain factory controlled and tested MPO-LC Fan
Outs to deliver optical performance and reliability. Premium versions of low
loss MPO/MTP and LC or SC connectors are offered featuring low insertion
loss for demanding power budget high speed networks.

Extraction Tool, designed to allow simple removal of LC duplex,

The new Optronics Speedway splice tray allows splicing of up to 24 fibres per
tray using secondary buffered fibres without the need to strip back whilst still
accommodating sufficient over length for up to 2 re-splices.
The use of the FibreFab Speedway spool ensures the protection of fibre

QSFP / PARALLEL OPTICS / CFP / CXP

QSFP+/ CFP/ CXP are types of transceivers operating with 40/100G BASE
parallel optics protocols.
The QSFP+ format features an MPO/MTP interface and is specified for

transmitting 40G BASE-SR4 protocol.
The SFP+ transceiver format features an LC(DX) interface and is used for
the 10G BASE-SR protocol.
The Firstlight Ultra High Density System is fully compatible with Parallel

unrivalled ease of use and flexibility. Designed to accommodate a number of
cable diameters up to 3mm. This incredibly versatile accessory allows the
installer to use the complete unit for fibre storage or break it down into up
to 6 individual components suitable for fibre management/routing. These
can then be mounted via adhesive foam pads or via screws. It allows two

The 1U Sliding Management tray provides a versatile solution for managing
both patch cords at the front of the rack and slack storage at the rear. The
individual hooks can be placed as per the installer’s preference. The sliding
slack storage at the rear provides support for incoming cables which caters
for both High Density UltraSlim solutions and standard deeper sliding patch
panels.
