Subject: NEW 11KV FEEDERS FROM NAIKABULA SUBSTATION

A new Substation consisting two by 33kV/11kV transformers is being constructed in Naikabula

which will ensure better margin of feeder capacity and improved system performances as part
of the existing load in Lautoka will be transferred to the new Naikabula Substation from
existing Lautoka Switching Station (LSS).
This System Reinforcement Job File is raised to establish the construction of feeder lines & the
construction of interconnector lines between substations. The line configurations are as
follows from the Naikabula Substation:
1. Maximum part of Ba town feeder lines from Lautoka SS will be connected to the newly
established Naikabula Industrial 1 feeder line
2. Minimum part of Ba town feeder lines and complete Waiyavi feeder lines from Lautoka
SS will be connected to the newly established Naikabula Industrial 2 feeder line
3. Existing 11kV Tropik 2 Circuit line from Tropik will be connected to the newly
established interconnector to Tropic line
4. Existing 11kV Tropik 2 Circuit line from Lautoka SS will be connected to the newly
established interconnector to LSS line

The project has an estimated cost of $ (VIP).

Further details are outlined in the construction drawing number A1/04/N53/269 sheets 1 to 4.

Please implement the above task in compliance with the job file.
