How to create a $0.00 Page Post Engagement Ad

1. Create a Live Video teaser (or a Video at least) demonstrating the best of
your product/service. This makes it easy for your targeted audience to access the
content, hold their attention, and engage with you and the content.

2. Give Value straight away. Don’t make viewers wait to get the value. 40% of
them may watch the rst 10 seconds only. Make it easy, make it immediate, and
make it valuable!

3. Show your face to build greater trust. By users seeing you, they will trust,
connect and like you more, which can highly in uence their buying behaviours. Do
this by downloading and using the free OBS software on your computer to make
your face appear on webcam and overlay it on top of the demonstration. 

4. Add an attention grabbing caption to the post. The rst thing users will see of
your post may be the caption. Make sure it grabs their attention, communicates
the value of your product, and compels them a reason to watch it.

5. Add a call to action in the caption. Request that users ‘React, Comment & Share’
your post. This will encourage them to engage, expand your organic reach and
decrease the costs of your ad.

6. Create a Special Oer. Make users feel special by being able to buy your full
product at a reduced rate, and add at the bottom of the caption

7. Create a Professional Thumbnail that summarises the key bene𕒯t of the


video. Use picmonkey.com (http://picmonkey.com) to create a simple graphic
makes it clear what users will achieve from watching your video

8. Place a Page Post Engagement Ad to the post. Use the above tips to encourage
engagement and drive down the cost of the ad as far as possible, as this ad will be
show to the most expensive countries.

9. Target your ideal demographics in the US, UK, Canada and Australia. Think
carefully about the age range, gender and interests of your target buyer. This will
make sure your ad is engaged with and not ignored!

10. Set a $1-5 daily budget for your ad. This will force Facebook to cram as many
results as they can into the budget and reduce your costs.

11. Run the Ad for 72 hours and look at the results. If your ad is not producing
more revenue than ad spend, you need to evaluate the above steps.

Things to consider if the ad is not working are:


1. Is your Live video / video optimised for trust, value and sales?

2. Is your o er good enough? Can you provide something better as an introductory

3. Is your targeting ideal? Maybe you chose the wrong interests, and the right
demographic… or vice versa. Look at other interests which match the content of
your video! In my video I targeted the interests of Udemy and Facebook Page
